THE BEST vet in town. They are there when it really counts and do everything in their power to take care of your pet. They aren't just out for money. They truly care about your pet which to me makes them the best there is.

Intestinal parasites are a common problem for pets. We provide effective procedures for the detection, treatment and prevention of these parasites as well as Heartworms. Canine Heartworm Disease is a life-threatening mosquito-borne blood parasite.
Pain Management
Managing your pet's pain is an important part of our commitment to your pet's health. Pain management helps your pet feel better more quickly and may prevent adverse medical consequences associated with uncontrolled pain. We assess each patient's pain individually and administer analgesic (pain relieving) medication as necessary to assure your pet is as comfortable as possible.

Parvovirus Infection Treatment
Vaccination is the main weapon against such diseases as distemper, hepatitis, rabies, parvovirus, upper respiratory infection and feline leukemia. Each individual pet's risk factors will be evaluated to determine which immunizations are necessary.
Anal Gland Infection Treatment
Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor. Your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Services also include nail trim, ear cleaning and anal gland expression.

We perform a variety of general soft tissue surgeries, dental cleanings and extractions. During surgery we closely monitor the patient while under anesthesia. We have state of the art monitors that allow us to monitor the patients blood pressures, pulse ox (a measurement of oxygen saturation), EKG, temperature and capnograph.
Kidney Disease Treatment
Dogs and cats over 7 years old are considered seniors and need special attention to keep pets feeling at their best, and with you as long as possible. Annual check-ups are recommended that include diagnostic testing to screen for common geriatric disorders. Older pets are at higher risk for cancer, diabetes, kidney disease and other serious medical conditions.

Spaying and Neutering
Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 6 months of age. Your pet is given an exam prior to surgery to help determine whether your pet is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure. Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery. Also a pre-anesthetic blood screen is recommended prior to undergoing anesthesia and surgery.

Laboratory Services
We offer three levels of in-house blood testing before surgery, which we will go over with you when you bring your pet in. Our doctors prefer the more comprehensive screen, because it gives them the most information to ensure the safety of your pet. For geriatric or ill pets, additional blood tests, electrocardiograms, or x-rays may be required before surgery as well.
X-Ray
Dental Radiology
The #1 health problem diagnosed in pets over three years of age is periodontal disease. Prophylactic cleaning of teeth will prevent gum disease, halitosis, tooth loss and serious infection in the liver, heart and kidneys. We used digital dental radiography to view any problems under the gumline which may not be visible externally.
Microchipping
We can give your pet a permanent form of identification, a microchip with a unique number that cannot be altered and in turn give you the peace of mind that if your pet were lost he could easily be reunited with your family.
