This has the potential to be a really good restaurant, but it has some issues. At this point in time, its still new. After sitting and waiting for quite some time for even a server to come by and then to get even my glass of water, I can see where people could be really upset with the service in this restaurant. However, I was sitting there long enough today to recognize that the problem is in the back of the house and that if they get their act together on the line, the front of the house won't fall to pieces. Maybe they need a line manager, maybe they just need more experience. Hopefully they can get it together and start moving food through in a timely manner so that the customers aren't upset and the servers aren't frazzled. The food is really good, for all that it takes forever right now. I'll go back, but not for at least a month or so to let them try and get their act together.

This restaurant, at least when it comes to the dinner entrees, is a little pricey. But I guess you get what you pay for! I love the food! My one complaint would be: No tomatoes on the salads!!! The lunch buffet is great, too. You get alot of veggies (still no tomatoes on the salads) and I feel as though the food is more healthier than any other buffet I've partaken. The atmosphere is easy-going and relaxing, and believe it or not, somewhat romantic (dimly lit with candles)! I easily get the vibe of an upscale New York-style restaurant. There is live music (piano) and singing on most nights. The lady, whoever she is, is wonderful, a bit of a jazz flare. I highly recommend that you try it! I rate this restaurant as four (4) stars, instead of five (5), simply because of the tomato issue. I LOVE tomatoes!
What a great local secret! We had no idea that this little gem, complete with full bar, even existed until recently. They are open for breakfast and dinner and the manager said that they can do catering for up to 160 people in their event rooms. We love the Holiday Inn in Valdosta and Azalea's Restaurant is located inside the hotel. Will definitely make this a regular eating place.
