Southeastern Monument Bronze & Associates

The monument Southeastern did for my husband is beyond my expectations. The wait was much anticipated but good work does take time. They had told me 90 days and it took a little over that. I have them on my list to recommend.

I wish I had read your review before I took my mother there. The excuses started that the ground was too wet. Then today he said the stone was almost done that I should read the contract, honey, and see it says 60-90 days. I didn't have the contract, and my mother spoke to him well before her birthday in August, and was told the story about the wet ground. So I almost took the "it's almost done, read the contract". Then I remembered the wet ground excuse and told him, he got flustered and told me to call back after 1, he was at lunch. So I called him at 2. He said he never told me to call him back, said "sweetheart, you misunderstood, that was our problems, we didn't listen and didn't understand!" I think he just called us stupid, tried to be smooooth with the sweetheart!



I had the contract in hand, it's been 112 days since we placed the order.



He finally asked me who the stone was for and then he said the stone was done. But, now....two of his trucks are down. One was in SC (Greenville, I believe). He was belligerent and so rude. He said, "listen, baby...when I have a truck to do it, the stone will be put up. If I tried to call everyone about the status of their stone, I would get on the phone all day!" I admit I got very irritated with the excuses, his rudeness and extreme lack of sympathy for my grieving mother. I told him, first...I am not your honey, sweetheart or baby. I am a grown woman and ma'am would do. Second, I didn't appreciate your rudeness. Third, and mostly...your excuses and lack of sympathy for my mother is appalling!



Didn't phase him. He said my mom was confused. That us calling so much wasn't helping. My mother called and spoke to someone...maybe twice. I called only today. Mom was told they would call her to let her know when it was going up, it would be the week of her birthday. She wanted her and my brothers to be there. Her birthday was August 28th. No one has called her.



He claims to be a pastor. My father was a pastor all my life. I have been around men of God all my life. None called me or any other grown woman sweetheart,baby or honey. I think he tells people that to gain their trust.



When I think about it, we went in there heavy with grief...not unlike many, or almost all getting a tombstone. He preyed on that, He knows we don't want to be there, we are there to mark the grave of someone we love so much. We cried. He hugged my mom. He told her what she had to have, what a pastor should have. We weren't as weak as some, not as strong as others. He has it down to a science....sigh



He told me he didn't want to talk to me anymore. I told him that was quite alright, but who is going to tell us about when the stone is going up. He said his warehouse manager will call me tomorrow. I said that was great, I will expect his call. If I don't get a call from him, I have three big older brothers who are very protective of their mamma. Either he calls, my brothers will be there Monday...or.....we want her money back! He hung up on me.

These people will take your money and make you wait for months. They will come up with any excuse as to why your monument hasn't been installed. They also have a complaint with the better business bureau and they have chosen to ignore the complaint. After given 2800,00 to these crooks I'am still waiting after months. It is now in the hands of an attorney,
