If you are looking for a real solid professional electrican Jeff at Goldcoast Electric is you guy. I have used many contractors in my life, some good decisions, some not so good and I think I've gotten pretty good at figuring out who the good ones are. This guy is really solid. My comments:

1. No charge for my estimate - Others wanted $65 or more just to come out and give me a price.

2. He gave me a 'ballpark' estimate over the phone - no-one does that anymore.

3. He asked pertinent questions to be sure he was in the 'ballpark'. No B.S. from this guy!

4. He arrived at the house when he said he would and confirmed his estimate in writing within 24 hours.

5. He pulled all permits prior to starting work per our agreement.

6. He dealt with all questions the city had regarding the upgrade (Change our service panel to 200 amp).

7. He communicated at all times when he had questions or on scheduling issues.

8. He was very courteous and answered all my questions.

9. On the day of work he was there on time and started work right away.

10. No hour long breaks for this guy, not even sure he ever sat down!

11. Great rapport with the City! He follows the rules and they like that!

12. He promised I would have power by 3pm or so, my lights all came on at 2:45.

13. No variance in the price - It was all exactly what he quoted.

14. Friendly guy, easy to work with.

15. Cleaned up everything after work.

All in all a great experience. Any future electrical work goes to Jeff.
