If you haven't been to TJ's in a long time, it's time to give it another whirl. They have lowered their prices on a lot of good items, so they have healthy options for reasonable prices.

Ha it's funny, I click on Popeye's Chicken and keep getting reviews about this hair salon.

I haven't tried the salon, but Popeye's Chicken is a great place to get some good, downhome southern fried chicken and bisquits.

Taco Bell food is all pretty much the same anywhere that you go, but this location has very friendly, clean looking and courteous employees. They keep up the dining area well and the location is nice. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it's still a "Taco Bell", LOL!

The one and only thing I love about Mr Pizza Man is that they are open really late. We need more restaurants with late hours in San Mateo, and not just for the barflys. Some of us have to work until 9 or 10 pm, then it's frustrating how limited our choices are when it comes to grabbing a bite around town. The pickings are so slim that I actually had to learn how to cook.

Everything on the pizza tastes canned. It's like Little Ceasars without the cheap prices.

I'd have to be really desperate not to cook and all of the downtown taquerias would have to be closed before I bother with Mr Pizza Man again.

I'm not a member, but visited here with someone who is. I don't like it because where you will save a little money on a case of soda, for example, that is only when the soda is regular price at the supermarket. I can usually get a better deal than here buying sale items at the regular supermarket. Plus the CROWDS- forget it!

neighborhood place with a pool table. The people seem friendly here, though I've only been a couple of times so I don't know anyone well. Has it's own parking lot.
