Whitehall apartments offers one thing, a great location. It is literally a 3 minute walk from campus, 3 minutes from chubby's and 3 min from AJ's. Unfortunately that is about it, there are absolutely no amenities (think pool, clubhouse, volleyball, visitor parking). I lived with a broken mirror, missing cabinet door, broken and missing chairs for the whole year even after repeated requests for replacements. The complex is not easy on the eyes and is always dirty. The price comes out to about $550 per month (including utilities), this is more or equal to over a dozen nicer complexes. Remember you are paying for location and thats about it. Anita, the manager, is a very nice person and easy to work with however, when she says she will do something she probably will forget or not get around to doing it until months later.
I would recommend Whitehall to freshman so they can be next to campus, or those without a vehicle. Overall it is a mediocre apartment complex that relies on its location to attract new residents.
