I am more than completely satisfied with Gary's shop work on refinishing my totally original Philbrick. As you know the more original wood on a boat the more original it is and the higher the value it maintains. I took my boat to Gary for a refinishing and was prepared for at least a half dozen planks would be replaced due to splitting. Gary investitgated the reason for the splitting and concluded it was due to insufficant hull ribbing in the bow. He installed 3 new ribs and was then able to fill and pull in the the cracked planks to the original form and then refinished the boat. the boat looks better than when i first picked it up as new! Gary has retained ALL the original wood and increased the boats value. I am very,very pleased with the scope of the repairs and refinish and believe it was done at a very fair price. I highly recomend Classic Craft for your wood boat repairs and refinishes.
