I-10 Pet Emergency
10822 Fredericksburg Rd, San Antonio, TX 78240
Recently I had a pet emergency and I want to share my story so others don't have this same bad experience. I had a dog who needed medical attention. This was the closest location to my house and it was a holiday so I brought my dog here. Unfortunatly, when tramatic events happen you become in the moment and feel like your willing to pay anything just to have your pet survive. Looking back now, I believe this vet clinic knows that as well.
They examined my pet and came back with an estimate of $2000 and explained that wouldn't guarantee he would even survive. I understand situations can't be guaranteed. However after my dog passed, I contacted my normal vet clinic and had them review the blood work from this clinic. Come to find out, there was no way my pet would have ever survived. This vet clinc had the same lab work and let me believe there was a chance. They also very willingly took my money knowing my dog would never even live. It's unfortunate that people play on others emotions and I would never suggest anyone take their animal to this type of establishment. I have since found other emergency vets in the area to take my pets to and asked my vet to never recommend this clinic to any of their patients if they want any honesty, even if it's bad news.

Dr Meadows has some pervious greyhound experience so he came recommend by my adoption agency. Over the past three years he has been a pleasure to work with and always open to taking time to answer my questions. When one of my greyhounds passed his office took the time to make me a poem and it really touched my heart to have then understand my loss. I would recommend Dr Meadows to all my friends.
