Banfield Pet Hospital
1505 11th Ave NW, Issaquah, WA 98027
Horrible care. Took our cat in for a routine physical. They recommended and "cleaned" his ear, puncturing both his eardrums in the process. The cat lost all sense of balance, could not eat, could not drink and was in lot of pain. Tried to get him back in for an emergency appointment, which they refused, telling us that its nothing to worry about. Saw all three of their vets over the next week (had to make an appointment for each) and none of them would "pinpoint" his problem, though it was obvious to us. What's worse, the cat was in obvious distress and condition was worsening but they would not treat him for any of the symptoms -- pain, loss of balance ... anything! Finally rushed him to another local pet hospital who diagnosed punctured eardrums and gave him meds for pain, vertigo, treated him for dehydration and other distress because Banfield dragged their feet on his care. Would say Issaquah Banfield has the worst care that I have ever seen -- had dozens of cats and have seen many veterinarians. This place just takes in the pets, keeps them in their cage all day (often returned soaked in their urine), do minimal care, but, they will try to sell you thier "Wellness Plan" and, at each appointment, some extra "procedures" that will pad their income. Avoid at all cost if you love your pet!
