I love to eat the salads here, but they also have wonderful pizza, lasagna, eggplant parmesan, and pasta. They make all kinds of sandwiches and panini, and the best part is, it's the DePalma family making everything. They used to own a restaurant near me, and I loved their food. I'm glad I found their new restaurant! They also have an extensive selection of pasta and other specialty groceries, and pre-made dinner and lunch items in their cooler. It is beautifully decorated, and they have outdoor dining on their patio. They are courteous and helpful and always try to accomodate any special requests. I have a food allergy, and I can eat here because they're helpful. They're just off Main street-Wing street has a traffic light on Main, so it's easy to find. Enjoy!

Hiller's is the cleanest store with the freshest meat and produce around. I live in Livonia and drive past Meijer and Walmart and Kroger's to shop here, primarily because they have such quality merchandise-and they respond to a shopper's desire for a product. They sell a huge quantity of British goods, as well as a large number of gluten free items. I am a celiac, and have to have a gluten free diet, so it helps that they mark items known to be gluten free. They also have great quality on meat, including the highest grade of beef to be found anywhere-Piedmontese beef-and fantastic fish and seafood. I have never been unhappy with any meat or produce I've purchased here. When I ask for a product, they check to see if they can get it. My daughter loves finding the puppy in the store flyer and getting a chocolate. In short, they are the most friendly, responsive, quality grocery store around-and they have great meat and deli specials too!

I have eaten here twice in the last 3 days and am considering eating there again today. They're right next door to Xochi's, and on Sunday I went down to Mexicantown to eat. I love Anthony Bourdain and was looking for a taqueria-and found it. The interior looks like a diner, they don't take credit cards, and they don't serve alcohol. There's an hispanic music jukebox for atmosphere. It was busy but not full. All the menu items are pictured on the wall, so you can see what you're getting. I ordered 6 tacos-beef tongue, beef head, pork, egg and sausage, and beef. I enjoyed every one of them, but it was too much to eat! My teenager got soup with shrimp and vegetables, and she loved it-it was 5.00, and a huge bowl of soup with at least 5 shrimp. They have a variety of soups, including menudo. They serve 4 kinds of salsa with every meal-pico de gallo, red salsa, a spicier one, and guacamole. They also serve limes with each meal, and chips. I had the ceviche on Tuesday-this is the only place I've found that serves a proper ceviche. This place is as authentic as it comes, and the pico is the best I've ever had, even in Mexico. It's easy to get to now that the bridge project is finished, and I won't be going anywhere else in Mexican town. I really, really love the service, excellent food, and authenticity, not to mention the prices. Discover it-it's really that good!

I can't eat the bun on a burger so when I say it's a great burger, I know it is-all I get is the meat and the condiments, so if they're hiding something, I know. I liked it very much and I especially liked the fries and the shake. I can't eat fries everywhere, so I was grateful to be able to here, and they were very good. The kitchen was spotlessly clean, and I am very fussy about cleanliness-and it is vey clean here. Further, my friend lives in Plymouth and eats here often, and her house is spotless, so I know she wouldn't eat here unless it's clean. I like the outdoor seating, and as far as expense, it is not expensive-try cheeburger cheeburger if you want an expensive burger. I can't eat the chicken, so I don't know how that is, but other people seemed to be enjoying theirs. Overall, when I want a burger, this place will be on my list.

The Tonon family runs this beautiful restaurant, and I love to dine here. My husband and I enjoy romantic dinners here, and we love the food, service, and wine selection. I believe this is the best Italian restaurant in Metro Detroit, and WDIV says they're the best romantic restaurant, and I agree! Yes, it is more expensive than say, Buca Di Beppo, but I wouldn't compare a family owned restaurant with fresh, garden grown herbs to a national chain with prepackaged ingredients! The veal here is fabulous, as is the eggplant parmigian-my two favorite foods. The service is impeccable-they are Zagat rated, and more importantly, my Italian friends recommend this restaurant to everyone. We needed a gift for a couple for their wedding anniversary, and we chose Cafe Cortina gift certificates, because they're discerning people who expect the best, and we knew they'd be happy here.

It's important that if you have any problems with waitstaff or the food, that you notify the Tonons immediately. They will see that you are satisfied, and it allows them to prevent a problem for anyone else. Sometimes I think the people who rate here are from other restaurants, or just expect an "Olive Garden" menu; they won't find a chain experience here, and I would hope that anyone looking for that go to the chain, where they'll get what they want!

I prefer locally owned restaurants with locally grown ingredients, and that's why I go here.

I absolutely love the veal parmesan at this place. I get it without breading, because I'm allergic to wheat, so I can really taste the veal, and it is truly outstanding. The cheese is spectacular to, as is the sauce. It's my favorite veal in metro Detroit. They're also known for their pizza. The house salad is wonderful-the house dressing is very tasty, with fresh herbs, and very light. The bread (I am told) is wonderful too. I find it quite affordable, especially at lunch. It's one of Plymouth's favorite restaurants, always crowded, and they have outdoor dining when the weather's good. Truly worth the drive to go.
