Large produce section and - of course - Asian food staples including good selection of noodles from Rice Sticks to Udon. Conveniently located to Glendale/Burank area.

The go-to place for a delicious and quick lunch. Love the falafel wrap and plate. Conveniently located to most offices in and around Brand Blvd. Terrific service, good food, reasonable prices. Recommended.

A pro and a gentleman. Just had my straps on two of my vintage watches replaced. The owner cofidently and professionally replaced the bands on my watches in minutes, all for a much more reasonable price than I had paid on the West side. Highly recommended.

Much more than a surf shop! Went their recently to pick up a back-pack (Topo Designs, made in Colorado) and found a copy of Josef Albers on colors. As you can see, quite a range of non-surf related items: great fashion, particularly their own range of t-shirts. There are books, movies, art and of course all the things that go with surfing. Relaxed vibe and friendly people. Cool. Larger selection than the also cool outpost in Venice, CA.

This place is trouble! Good trouble that is: most excellent espresso, soy available. Great treats including their legendary toast and coconut milk. Definite hipster vibe, matched with excellently crafted coffees. Lovely itsy bitsy bar area. Worth the journey to the Sunset area.

Surprisingly large selection of used books. Charming store, conveniently located just off the 90 in old town Yorba Linda. Service was wonderful when I visited. Large amounts of paperbacks along with a well edited fiction section. If you're in the area, be sure to look them up!

Excellent tapas in a beautiful, minimal space. Went for dinner early on Friday evening (it gets full rather quickly) and had a great selection of vegatarian tapas, an extraordinary fatoush and polenta. It was most excellent and the rose we chose from a nice, ecclectic wine selection was a great pairing. Service was above par, friendly, unobtrusive, just as it should be. Run by the good folks of grocery 'cookbooks', this is a wonderful addition to Echo Park's food scene. Highly recommended.
