The forest grove tobacco shop has good prices on cigarettes, especially cartons. They also have a pretty good selection and in my experience the staff knows a lot about tobacco. A good store and convenient location.

This is a new restaurant and bar in East Atlanta and I tried it out with some friends last month. The beer list alone is incredible--it's more of a beer book than a list. It took 10 minutes just to look through it. Very nice. The food was excellent and the staff, while a bit awkward at times, did seem to genuinely care that we enjoyed our time there. We sat on the back patio which was nice, and gave some relief from the smoky bar inside--it's all smoking, so be aware of that. A great addition to east atlanta--something between a dive and a gastropub, but a good mix of both in different ways.

You aren't going to find the cheapest music in town here, but they have listening stations for you to find your new favorite bands, as well as a pretty good size used section, comics, magazines, and occassionally will host parties/events for new music that are pretty good. And the snobbery of the staff is pretty minimal, sometimes. Overall one of my favorite places to buy music when I want to keep the cd.

Panera offers fresh bread, great sandiwches and salads and you would never know they are a chain restaurant. Not homemade, but close as you will get. Their coffee is pretty good too, and they usually have lots of places to sit if you want to read or use your laptop or chat with friends.

The good thing about Briarcliff Animal Clinic is they are open weekends, so if your pet gets sick you have a place to go. The bad thing is they have so many doctors and so many clients that it can be difficult to see the same person twice or to be in communication with anyone. We have had bad experiences with this-- different advice from different doctors, not getting test results back, rude receptionists-- so we only use Briarcliff on weekend emergencies and see our other, regular vet otherwise.

He is a nutty guy. You will sit in the chair and chat for a half hour before you even open your mouth to show him your teeth. The banter between him and his assistant is hilarious. But he is also a good dentist. Go to get your teeth cleaned, but leave with a story to tell when you get home.

I have an older Saturn and I could probably save money by taking it to another shop, but I still take it here to the dealer because I trust them. This is one car shop that I feel they will tell me what needs to be done and what doesn't. And that's worth paying a little more for.
