If you are looking to buy or sell real estate, KK, the owner of Century Estate and Finance, is going to make sure you are taken care of. He is very flexible, and easy to work with, and showed us places after hours, on weekends, basically around our schedule. I have used his firm for a number of years, first to buy my condo in Pasadena, then to refinance it and then even to sell it and each time, I have been very well handled.

Noors Day Care is a happy second home for your children. Noor has over 17 years of experience in early childhood development, and an amazing personality. The daycare is brightly decorated and has a fenced outdoor play area for your toddlers.

You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. Food is similar to Daphne's. They have a Gyro Sandwich combo which includes Rice (or fries) and a soda. Food was fresh and tasted great.

The food service is slow and options are limited. Not a good place for dinner, but fine for drinks.

  • Alexis Greek Restaurant 9034 Tampa Ave, Northridge, CA 91324 (818) 349-9689

This place is hit and miss. The taziki was not good, but the pita was incredible. Their Gyros and Fish Cakes were great and the Mousaka was pretty good. The Chicken was average.

If you ask me, the place is more Greek than Portuguese and while I believe the owners are very involved in the menu, I didn't see either of them.

Service is rather slow, but the fine ambiance allows you to enjoy a slow dinner. The restaurant is definitely pricey at $50 per person but certainly worth trying.

Great sandwich place. I love their Turkey sandwich with red vinaigrette. It is huge and only 5 bucks. Can't beat that. It tastes fresh and too good to be healthy.

  • Classic Hand Car Wash 506 S San Fernando Blvd, Burbank, CA 91502 (818) 557-0800

Classic Car Wash is a decent car wash in Burbank. Not a very big car wash, and perhaps that is why it is not a very busy one (at least not when I was there on Thursday during the late lunch hour). That is good news for you because the wait time is 20-30 mins. They do a good job for the 11.95 ($2 more for SUVs and Trucks) package. They also have an Early Bird special on Tue and Wed mornings till 11a.

Atop theHotel at Mandalay Bay, the Mix Lounge has a private elevator that takes you up to the lounge. The girls are smoking hot and the finger food is expensive but delicious.

This place is like an oasis in the desert. On Monday night at 9p, walking through downtown San Jose, I found half open sleepy restaurants with no patrons. Then I came upon this Mecca of activity with most of the tables occupied.

They had free wine tasting outside, and half off appetizers inside with LIVE music. My friend and I ordered all the appetizers on the menu and they were all amazing. Every single appetizer was delish!
