Best 4 years of my life...won't knock off a star because it's cold...just prepare for it and you'll be fine. Great education, definitely a work hard, play hard school. Tuition is up there, but i believe it was worth it. Great social life whether you go Greek or not. Great restaurants on and off campus. Everything is about a 15 minute drive from campus. If you live up at Day or Flint, prepare for walking up and down 127 stairs just to get to the dorms at least twice every day. The campus is absolutely beautiful as wel

Great place to get all of your workout and health needs. The employees are friendly and willing to guide you in the right direction based on the way you work out and your lifestyle. They will also double check their website when you check out to see if there is better pricing than what is offered in store. Coupons are emailed out for either $ off or % off, available for use both in store and online.

This is a great, clean Costco; I haven't done much shopping here, so this review will be centered on my experience so far, which is with bananas, stamps, and the optometry department.

So I don't know if yall know this, but Costco actually has an independent optometrist (Dr. Hollingsworth) in a little office that's right outside the store. It's to the right of the entrance. It's very convenient-they have appointments until 5 pm on weekdays and weekend appointments as well, plus you can order your glasses or contacts from Costco-super convenient!

The bananas were delicious (I had to stock up-I ate 4 bananas for dinner that night since I was doing the Big D Climb the next day and my knees and ankles were killing me). Good value on the bananas!

They sell Forever Stamps here, which was great since all I had was $.45 stamps at home and the price went up that next day.

The optometry department is great, very good about looking up discounts that you may get with your insurance and also will take payment through FSA cards (maybe i'm dumb but I didn't realize mine was a debit card-so yay for convenience all over again). I ordered my glasses last Friday and was told it would be at least a week until they were in. I actually got the call yesterday (Wednesday) that they were ready. Pick up was a breeze as well.

Friendly librarians who don't shun you if you lose a book (oops!). They just have you pay for it and you can even check out a book that same day. They have a great collection there and throughout the Plano Public Library System. Easy to use online system as well for rechecking and requesting books. Also has a drive by book drop for when you're in a hurry.

This is a great synagogue with an extremely involved and caring community. It is affiliated with a great school that provides a wonderful secular and Judaic education. This is also the largest conservative synagogue in the country. It's beautiful yet still warm and inviting.

As far as what Johnny T said, yes there is security, but I have never encountered or seen ANYONE be questioned about whether they were Jewish or not. Additionally, judging by the date, he may have visited during the High Holy Days, which comes with increased security and a limited amount of seats.

The services are beautiful and the Rabbis and Cantor...and the rest of the staff are very welcoming and friendly.

I really liked this Starbucks...actually had a meeting here earlier tonight. Very cozy location, great seating layout and nice baristas. Free parking in the garage (first 2 hours are free...) if there is no street parking.

I just joined this synagogue last year (about time-I've been in the DFW area for over 2 years!) Everyone there is friendly and it is a great conservative synagogue. It's smaller than what I am used to, but it is growing, which is really exciting. It seems to be a great place to give your family (or yourself) and keep a strong Jewish foundation.

I started coming here because I was sick of being snubbed by the girls at Ulta across the street. I was looking for a few specific products and was very happy with the level of service that I received from the three employees that I spoke with. One found both of the products that I was looking for and did a demo for me (on my own face) as to how to use them correctly. The girl at check out was extremely patient when I thought that I had a Beauty Insiders card-it ended up that I didn't, but she still went through all of the possible phone numbers with me to try to find out. I ended up opening one (great perks for great products!). She was cheerful and had a really good attitude. I spoke with one last girl on the way out because I absolutely loved what she had done with her hair; I mentioned that I had colored clip ins and she suggested that I clip them in and then braid them in with my hair. Too much detail, I know, but I love people who are humble enough to take a compliment and then relate to you if they can. I'll definitely be back soon!

I would have given a 5 on service-my genius bar employee was fabulous; my issue came with when i came to pick my computer up, which knocks off a star.

I went in because the battery on my MacBook Pro died and I needed to get it replaced. I am always skeptical of the Apple Store because I know how expensive their products are to repair and to purchase new. Thankfully, my battery was just around $130 and lucky for me, they had one in stock and were able to change my battery in just half an hour. My genius bar employee made no comments as to my cracked screen or how dirty/dusty my MacBook was (it was pretty gross-I should take better care of my things). He also put repairing my screen in to perspective; explaining what is involved with doing this at the Apple Store vs. using another service. He was kind enough not to insist that I use the Apple Store or that I needed to get it repaired immediately, which put me at ease knowing that he cared more about getting my computer back to me in a useable condition as efficiently as possible. He could have pulled one over on me and made it seem extremely urgent and I probably would have reluctantly, though naively gone through with it. I really do appreciate that-it saved my budget and a lot of time on my part.

When I returned half an hour later to pick up my laptop, it was ready. I gave my name to another employee who was tasked with locating items for pick up. I decided that I would browse the iPhone covers while he looked for my laptop thinking that he'd come find me to ring me up. Instead, he ended up going right back to where he was standing after retrieving my laptop and semi yelled at me because he couldn't find me. Though I said that I was looking for a new cover for my phone, he proceeded to ring me up then and there, pushing my time in the store to a close. I'm not going to stand around holding my laptop in a crowded Apple Store, trying to look at phone covers, so I was out of there.

So aside from that one employee, and the crowds (which honestly that says good things about the store to me...they have their store set up for interaction, it shouldn't be a sore point), I was extremely pleased and satisfied with my treatment and attention at the Apple Store. Another plus: my laptop was returned to me clean and dusted: I appreciated that as well and am working on keeping it that way.

Something about this Office Depot kind of bugs me-maybe it was because I went in twice around 7 pm...maybe that's a weird time for the staff? It seemed like it was weird for my friend and I to be there, but hey, when organizing your apartment after a full day of work, when else am I supposed to go in? Aside from that, they have a pretty good selection; the store itself just looked kind of blah and a little shabby. A plus was that the cashier gave us coupons to use instead of leaving us high and dry since we forgot to bring ours along.
