Wowza, LUV this shelter! Recommend this Animal Shelter over all others: Staff & Volunteers will try their utmost hardest to find you your beloved pet you wish to adopt! These guys all KNOW & LOVE these animals. They work hard to keep them happy, healthy, and adorable!

If i had to pick my fav, I probably couldn't. But I do love the cat room! Bonus, the cats have access to outdoors, too. The big kitties get to roam free during the day, but each one has a bedroom to call their own at night if they so desire. I love the older cats, they are so inquisitive, healthy, loving, playful and desparately need their Forever Family to love!

Oh, and the DOGS! I LOVE going to look & pet the dogs! I swear the tail wagging just never QUITS with these dogs!!! And these Workers will let you know everything there is to know about the dogs, no hiding info like other shelters I have visited (yikes!).

Puppies, kitties....speak for themselves. Woof woof, meow meow! Be careful, you'll want to bring home a car load!

The Shelter takes some of their animals out to PetCO on FM-78 (Wood Glen) OR at Forum PetSmart on the weekends, just watch their Facebook for dates. (that's what I did...it worked) So if you can't make it to the Shelter during the week, then try to catch them while you are out & about. I found them at PetCo on Saturday....then later looked for the Shelter address. Its easy off of Loop 1604 and Rocket Lane, across from the tail-end of Judson High/Judson Middle Schools in Converse. VERY EASY to get to! The place looks like a little house with a tall chain link fence. (Watch your speed, its a school zone, too!)

When you hear the dogs barking, you'll know you've arrived! :-)
