Still an advanced beginner, I love the Los Positas Par 3 course. It's challenging enough, with some par 4's and the course is always in decent condition. Pace is good too, I never feel too rushed. There's lots of geese poo, and an occasional carcass from an unfortunate bird who may have been struck by a ball.

This place is a legend. I don't know what they put in their Salsa, but its ADDICTING. When I used to live in LA, I would go almost every weekend, even if it was stinkin crowded. For all the new folks, please have your order ready when you get up to the counter! Chips and salsa... yummm.... Because I no longer live in LA, my bf recently had a Titos meal fedex'd to the bay area. Trust me, its good even the day after.

5 stars for their omakase sushi - my favorite is their toro... at times they have run out when I have asked for seconds so I've learned to order multiple at a time. Make reservations, especially on the weekends, a day in advance. I love the casual atmosphere and they also have the usual non-sushi Japanese comfort food as well.

This by far has been my most favorite sushi restaurant I've found in the bay area. No fuss, no muss. I make the 1.5 hr RT commute without hesitation!

I was living down south in LA Christmas of 2006 and I drove up to visit with my little sister who lives up here in the bay area. Her husband was sweet enough to hook us up with a night at the Fairmont Hotel for so that we can spend Christmas Eve together. I was following up my trip by visiting my parents in Fresno before driving back to LA. I had several gifts for everyone - some that had more sentimental value than monetary value in addition to the usual laundry and stuff I keep in my trunk.

The Fairmont Hotel only had valet parking service for an exorbitant amount of $24 a night. We parked, I never opened my trunk (I was more embarrassed about the laundry than worried about showing that I had stuff in my trunk) and as always, I figured that noone would be interested in rifling through an older Civic.

We had a great time that night, walking around, seeing the decorated trees downtown, ate room service for breakfast, etc etc. Well the next morning when I had my car pulled up, you wouldn't believe the scene - my entire care had been rummaged through. Not only had it been rummaged through, but they had done it hastily as all of my stuff from the compartments in the front of the car was EVERYWHERE. In addition, every last piece of anything that was worth ANYTHING was gone from the trunk. The new shuffle I had bought myself that was hidden under all of my knitting junk, the sentimental gifts, the DVD I was hoping to watch at home, and even my garage opener.

Not only was it humiliating to have your car rampaged, outraged to have your presents stolen on christmas eve, the Fairmont Hotel did NOTHING. They basically stated that the valet service was not a part of their company. I stated to them that regardless of whether the valet service was part of their company or not, it was all part of the EXPERIENCE of staying at a hotel like The Fairmont.

They try show elegance and grandeur with their name and physical construction, but can't even take care of their customers most basic parking needs. Now that's a shame.

I now refuse to stay at any of their properties anywhere in the world.

I've been a dedicated customer for the last 2 years, consistently going out of my way to pick up donuts here for my teams. Even putting that aside, I always expect some level of customer service, even if it is a donut place.

I called this morning to order 2 doz donuts assorted for pickup in 15 minutes. I got there in 20. There was a guy in front of me who was ordering a few donuts and there were a few boxes on the counter, which I expected to be mine. Once the guy left, I told the lady I was here to pick up the 2 doz I called in for. She gave me a quizzical look and got annoyed - "But YOU LATE! YOU 30 MIN LATE! I ALREADY SOLD YOUR DONUTS TO SOMEONE ELSE!" I said, "i'm not that late... maybe a few minutes late, and maybe you should ask for people's names so you don't sell the donuts to someone else."

Anyhow, so I asked her if she had enough donuts for 2 doz. She started putting them in a box. I then asked her for napkins, and she said, "you get them yourself!" I said, "excuse me?" since she has always given me napkins in a bag.... and she said again, "you get them yourself! next to coffee!!!" While paying her, I started taking the napkins out of the bin next to me where she got even more upset, "TOO MUCH!!! YOU STOP!!!" and I said, "well, I do have to feed 20 people and I'm buying 2 doz donuts" and she said, "TOO MUCH! ENOUGH!!!"

I was absolutely blown away at this experience this morning. Customer service is important, no matter what industry, especially for your best customers. I don't care if she makes the best chocolate whatever, I'm NEVER going back and will NOT be recommending this shop to anyone again.

Having moved here from LA, I had severe Pinkberry withdrawals for many months.... until Blush arrived in Dublin. Their original and Blush flavors are my favorite, super-tangy! They also have all of the standard toppings with fruits, little choco and yogurt chips and of course MOCHI!!! YUM!

When I first moved to Dublin (Pre-Ranch 99) I thought I would have to drive miles to find boba. Thank goodness I found Cafe Tapioca just a few blocks from home. It's locally run and operated and the tapioca is always consistently awesome. My favorite is the Strawberry-Yogurt ... yummmmm! Service is friendly and its a great place to catch up with friends.

I've tried several nail places in the area, but this by far is my favorite! Its comfortable, they can always take you walk-in, and the prices are reasonable. For a pedicure, spa chair is default, and they bring you this nice warm shoulder pack to help relax you during your time there. You get to pick color AND a lotion, and they really take the time on the leg/foot massage part which I LOVE. I find Happiness here every 3 weeks or so :)

I was a bit skeptical about a place in a small strip mall, but its pretty darn good! The ambiance is cute too, if you eat in. My favorite thing to do is to order online for pickup http://www.liveonthego.com/Dublin-Thai-Bangkok-101-Amador-Valley.aspx and its ready within 15 minutes! Pad Thai and their Yellow Curry with Pork are my favorites :)
