Few places allow to travel through time periods, a complete history of architecture, design, photography, art in all its dimensions as Hennessey. If you're low on funds but still want to discover the world, spend some hours here.

but still pretty close to the "UCLA Downtown LA" campus. After moving to LA I missed taking my bike to classes. Thanks to this little sweet spot I can roll down the hill to fill more wisdom and knowledge into my head.

    I love it!

...is: When you want the real deal, a hearty meal, with all the goodies and for a reasonable price, simply go to your favorite truck or hole in the wall.

However, when you are looking for a feast with drinks and friends and want to celebrate, dance and have more than just some food, go to Malo!

One star down for being overpriced nevertheless.

Well, it comes quite close to something like a middle-eastern eateria, not quite there yet, but that's mostly the poor quality of the food. I don't mean it's bad or anything, quite delicious actually, but the quality is just not the hit.

Good place if you're into some quick cheap chicken and don't want to get some of those caloric bombs they serve at KFC.

Margaritas! Seriously, those are delicious! Have some chips with salsa on the side and ask for the hot one, you will love dipping those crunchy things in there. But as for main courses, better not. We got numerous plates of greasy stuff that was not really fun to it. Prices are fine as plates are gigantic.

I had to swallow a couple of times when opening the menu, but beware, you get what you payed for! The plate is enormous and the amount of food impressive. Rest assured that you will have something for the next day.

Oh, and yes, it is delicious, especially when you're into garlic you will be happy!

The food is mediocre, the service never nice, the places reek of old grease and there is nothing healthy about this food. Go grab a sandwich at Whole Foods and pay the same price for some high quality. This here is just no fun :(
