This library is great and always has been, especially since the remodel. It's 3 floors and has a very wide selection. It's just a pretty building and a gem in downtown B'game.

This location is awesome because the store is so large! It's definitely one of the biggest TJ's on the Peninsula. As such, they have pretty much anything you'd want and need. Their selection is simply very good. The only downside is that is shares a parking lot with other businesses, including Macaroni Grill, so sometimes it can be hard to find parking.

If you are making a big grocery run and need a lot of stuff, I recommend you patronize this location rather than the Millbrae or San Carlos location.

I like Max's and this particular location. I've always had good experiences, and the food is always great. Most people I know rave about the corned beef or brisket. I don't think the service is that great all the time--many servers act like it's just a job and they don't care about the customers. But there's something fun and enjoyable about this location--it's smaller than the one in Palo Alto and the live music (piano and singing) makes it worth it.
  • Fashion Tailoring 1500 Laurel St, San Carlos, CA 94070 (650) 591-4081

I've been going there for about a year or two now, and I am always very pleased. It's a family owned business and they are very honest and worth the money. Items are always ready when they say and I am pleased with the quality of work. I've had the previous experiences elsewhere with walking into a tailor's shop and a gruff, aggressive man grabs my things--no warmth or welcoming. Fashion Tailoring is different--the gentleman who works there is kind and sweet...an older Italian grandpa-type. They do a great job and are honest and hardworking. Recommended!
  • Marc M Yelnick 1435 Huntington Ave, South San Francisco, CA 94080 (650) 341-1980

I was actually impressed--I guess I wasn't sure what my expectations were, but the attorney surely exceeded them. I was particularly impressed with prompt and detailed follow-up and communication. It's really annoying when lawyers brush you off or treat you as though your case is not important to them. It's so refreshing to have your case handled with respect, confidentiality, and dignity. I didn't realize right away that he's been doing this for 30+ years, so no wonder he truly knows his stuff.

All my questions were answered and welcomed, which I very much appreciated. The law, forms/paperwork, and procedures can often be confusing and overwhelming, so it was wonderful for Mr. Yelnick to explain things and care that I understood what the next steps were. I also wasn't expecting a lawyer with such a great sense of humor! A lawyer with whom I previously consulted about my tricky case was competent but dull. I was so pleased that Mr. Yelnick was not only so knowledgeable and professional, but also made our appointments pleasant and relaxing. I'm so relieved that my phone and in-person meetings with him accomplished a lot. Recommended!
