I have been reading how good this place was for the past 12 month's... My wife was able to secure a reservation (she called 30 days in advance) for my birthday. I was excited but waiting for a month seemed little ridicules. Well.... This is one of the few places I went to that did not disappoint. We had 2 pasta dishes and shared a sea bass and it was awesome. Sommelier recommended a Pinot Noir that was simply the best wine I had in a long time. This place is expensive but worth every, you may run into to a star or two.

Nothing fancy, just a great sushi restaurant. I love the 2 old Japanese sushi chiefs making some of the best sushi in town. They do have some of the crazy modern rolls but its mostly traditional Japanese sushi. I love the yellowtail sashimi. The cold sake is also awesome.. I like the one in the blue bottle. Highly recommended..

I have been going to this place since it opened back in 1981...One of my good friends parents used to own a business right next door, so I used to go there all the time. It was tiny back then but they have grown into a nice restaurant. I did not even speak English back then but I knew how to say Chicken salad please... Anyway, it's been 27 years and nothing has changed. They still have great Chicken salad and I still can't speak English... Anyway, I had all the different Chinese chicken salads around town and this place is still the best. My wife and I buy the dressing from Costco and make our own chicken salad at home. But, at least once a month I really do need that fix... also, the same gentleman who served me my first chicken salad still works there.. I love that...If you have not been to this place, it is worth a drive to the West LA to check out Feast from the East.

I love this place because food is sooooo gooood....I love their gnocchi, tortelloni stuffed with ricotta and pumpkin ravioli with walnut sauce. WOW... I knew that this place had great Italian food and been coming here for several years now... I recently visited Italy for the 1st time and loved the food there.. I now appreciate Ca Brea even more as it reminds me of some of the meals I had in Italy... Check it out as you will not be disappointed.

I love this place... I know almost every review on yelp, I start the review by saying "I love this place"... I am new to Yelp and I am reviewing all my favorite places first. First there are 2 locations but I like the one in the heart of Korea Town on 8th street. Walking into this place, you think you took a space ship and went back to the 60's.... they first opened back in 1953, so this place is a LA tradition... I LOVE the CULOTTE (The most tender cut of the Top Sirloin- Only two cuts per steer).. man this is only thing you should order there.. they are famous for it... if you order steak other then rare or medium rare then do not go to this place... Don't waste your money ordering a well steak.. Eat beef jerky instead. Better yet, go to Sizzler... They have a decent wine selection or bring your own with a reasonable corking fee... I only go there on Sundays and get their SURF 'N' TURF for $33.95. It's their Famous Dinner Culotte and Broiled Gulf Prawns.. YUMMY..

Like most people, we went to the The Boiling Crab to find out that there is a long wait....So, we made some calls to our friends and decided to checked out Crabulous. This place was not bad.. Not great, but not bad.. We had shrimp, crab and craw fish and it was good. I think the seasoning at the The Boiling Crab is better. The service was OK.. they did not come by until you walked up to ask for something. Again, Overall it was not bad but it's not the The Boiling Crab.

When you first arrive at this place, you are thinking what the F???.. looks ghetto...but once inside.. this place has that hole in the wall charm.. This is one great Ecuadorian restaurant in Los Angeles. It's right next to Don Felix Peruvian restaurant which is also a great place.. I have tried their beef empanada and the breaded steak dish and they were all good.. also, try to soup.. wow.. tasty.. but the best is the Lomo Saltado (which is a thin cut of beef steak in a tomato, onion sauce over fries). Funny thing is the Don Felix next door has the same dish but I think the Ecuadorian version is better... also they have some wines and sangria which will make this a great meal... like someone wrote it's a mix of Latin and Italian food..

This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles.. I have been coming here for years and it never let's me down.. I love their Chimichanga and Taco combination plate. Chips and salsa is addicting and their Wet Burritos are also yummy. Margaritas and Piña Colada are also good.. there is a wait but it's all worth it...

I am a huge fan of Pho.. even before it got popular.. back when you had to dive down the China Town and go to one of the Pho plus number places.. Pho 67, 87, 29, 99.. you get the idea.. Then this great place opened up in West LA. Little different then Traditional Pho places but the soup is really good.. I know that there is lot of love that goes into making the pho and i hate it when you get to some places late and they just add water... not fact, my mom is really picky and she never liked the smell of pho, but this is the only place that she would go and enjoy her rare beef pho. There is other stuff on the menu like the pork chop and the bun (noodle) are also good... So now with all the popular pho places and wanna be places like Pho Sho, Pho King Leuong, What Da Pho and so on ( yes, I have actually seen these places driving by).. I can say that this place is Pho-ing Good.

If Le Saigon in West LA is kidda westernized Vietnamese food, this place in San Gagriel is truly an authentic Vietnamese Cuisine. Same owners as the Golden Deli and I never had a bad meal here.. Pho, pork chop and the rice plates are all good.. This is why there always is a line to eat here.... only thing I did not like is that i did feel like I was rushed in and rushed out of this place.. I can understand why with all the people waiting but other then that, this place was perfect.
