    Love, Love, Love It!!!

I never wait in line, and never bag my own groceries! I have a newborn, and a bagger even helped me out to my car last week and loaded my groceries while I got the baby in the car. It's clean, well stocked, has great deals, and is even a Spartan store! Their bottle machines are always clean and rarely full. If they do fill, they are super fast to empty them without being asked! I drive past 3 other stores on my way here because it is so great!

    Amazing!

I was so excited when I came across this store when I was visiting Fremont about two months ago. I love everything, from the way the store was set up, the way the clothes are presented, the helpful employees, and last but not least the cutest dog ever- Charlie, to greet you when you come in. The clothes are edgy and hot. I've always wanted to open my own boutique, and if I did, it would be exactly like The Industry. I hope The Industry continues to find success in the years to come. We need more places to shop, like The Industry. I can't wait to go back and see what's new.

    Spa and Exercise Facility

Capitol City Club and Spa borders the Capitol Hilton Hotel and is a frequent respite for weary travelers who need a relaxing massage or a workout before they head off to meetings. They have a great looking gym with a line of treadmills that face K street through a first floor ground window which can make for some fun people watching during your workout, though the people outside can also look in at you!

    Standard Copy Place

When your office copier goes bust or your printer runs out of ink, Park Press will come to the rescue. For fairly reasonable prices they will handle printing or copying of jobs large and small and also sell the basics to get your office back on track like ink cartridges. The prices are comparable to Kinkos and the like and the lines may be shorter here.

    Basic Office Needs Met

Dupont Circle Copy Services is not a big or fancy store, but it will serve your basic office needs for a copies, fax machine, scanner and the like. They are not open 24 hours like Kinkos is, but during business hours this is a good place to go and the service is reasonably quick and not too expensive for most budgets. If you work in the area it is probably better to go here than to hike half a mile to Kinkos.

    Exquisite Eatables

As the name suggets, Chocolate Chocolate is a store dedicated to cocoa-flavored treats, though that's not all they sell. They also sell old fashioned candy like licorice wheels by the pound and all varieties of seasonal sweets like miniature easter baskets during Easter or goblin shaped lollipops during Halloween. The store is a bit pricey but it's a great place to go for a small sweet treat or gift.

    For the Faithful

If you are a practicing Catholic you will probably feel right at home in the Catholic Information Center which contrary to the name oes not provide just pamphlets on being Catholic but sells a wide variety of books both on Catholic and non-Catholic (such as the daycare debate) topics. They also sell religious devotional items like crucifixes and books for children on learning about the religion. There is even a small chapel in the back where they hold mass.

    Beautiful Silver

If like me you adore silver jewelry, then you will love Dupont Circle Silver, a store specializing solely in this beautiful but fairly inexpensive precious metal. If they make it out of silver you can buy it here, from necklaces to earings, bracelets and rings and more. The jewelry is breathtaking and the prices while a bit more than you might pay at a flea market are very reasonable for the quality you get.

    Outdoor Fun

While you might think from the name that Hudson Trail Outfitters is also about hiking through the wilderness it's clear from looking in the window that even more than hiking they are about biking! Rows and rows of bicycles hang from the ceiling inside the store and they also sell all sorts of bike and wilderness accessories like helmets, books, gloves and so forth. A good place to visit before you venture into the wild outdoors.
