    Placement agency

Although I ended up taking a job I found on my own, I found the staff at Midtown Personnel competent and accessible. I worked with senior consultant Kevin Kramer, who was very easy to get a hold of, listened to what I wanted, and took time to make me feel like I was important. I know other people who have been placed through this company, and they were very happy with the help Midtown was able to give in negotiating salaries.

    great tanning salon

I give Sun on U two thumbs up for great customer service, investing in what matters, and innovative business strategy. The prices are good, the beds are really well taken care of and the staff on hand (you friendly neighborhood middle-aged gay men) really know their stuff – including customer service. Open late and good location near metro too.

if I could get there more often...

Thomas Circle Sports Club is a pretty average club, with average staff, and average facilities. Due to building construction directly behind it, the club has suffered from two entrances being blocked off and a loss of satellite television services. The class schedule is great - I highly reccomend Ladora and Juliet. The clientele is diverse - heavy on the twenty-something chics and gay men - but there is range of shapes, sizes, ages, and color. You never feel like you are at a meat market, and everyone is very friendly. Bathrooms and locker room are fine, steam room is small but good. The janitorial staff is great too!

    a true bookstore

Politics and Prose is a fantastic book store - knowledgeable staff, good selection, great speaker series. I love the weekly email subscription, which describes upcoming events, top sellers of the week and providers reccommendations. Cute little coffee shop inside too. It's the kind of store that appeals to families, yuppies and all sorts of book lovers. While the space is small, the intimate setting is a great place to listen to authors talk about their work. There are also several book clubs that meet regularly.

Great service, they know their stuff

I've been visiting the ladies at Extremities for 3 1/2 years now. Not only is the service great, they really know their stuff. I had had a manicure in Chicago while on business, and the next time Sue did my nails at Extremities, she asked me where I had gotten my nails done, because she could tell from the quality that it hadn't been theirs! Also, very good eyebrow waxing as well.

If it wasn't for their pushy staff..

I work in the same building as Lynelle and every day I walk past the window noting the absolutely cute and unique clothes and accessories they have in the store. But my experience with their staff is awful - they are so pushy it makes me not want to shop there anymore! Which is unfortunate, because they have different and classy, reasonably priced stuff!
