The grounds are gorgeous, and they have a large collection of artwork (especially British). The Blue Boy is here, as well as work by Turner. The Japanes garden is not to be missed, be sure to bring your camera. No food or drink allowed, so don't plan on a picnic. Wear comfortable shoes, there's a lot of walking.

The amazing amount of great food almost makes up for the fear factor involved. The neighborhood is a little shady, not necessarily a place for children who might wander off. If you're buying bring cash.

You do feel emersed in the experience of this dreadful and historical period, but it can be depressing. It is a great way to learn about the Holocaust for people of all ages and backgrounds, which I enjoy, but I don't think my other half will return, he found it overwhelmingly depressing.
