Mr. Tony is still running a very quality restaurant out by the lake. The service is excellent as the wait staff treat guests like family dropping by for a meal. They are willing to work with those of us who have dietary restrictions on our food with no complaint while still making the food delicious. Mr. Tony always has a nice word for those who greet him. This is one of those great neighborhood joints that you love taking you out of town friends to as to make a good impression upon them.

The museum does an excellent job of getting the complex story of the numerous D-Days during WWII across to the lay person and historian alike. The exhibits there really do an excellent job of putting the visitor into the mindset of what it what like to experience these momentous events of WWII. An added bonus for the visitor is that you will find several veterans of WWII working the exhibit areas as volunteers. They bring their own personal experience into the gumbo mix that makes the history of WWII come alive.

They had our CR-V for two months working on it. The problem seems to be trying to do quality work in this post-Katrina business reality. They have gotten most of their pre-Katrina employees back but after the storm, they have had supply issues as well as a much higher work load as other shops in the region are still closed. It is an inconvenience to have a vehicle in the shop for two months but I realize that I have to have different expectations in our Post-K recovery. The main thing is they did a good job with their repair work which was extensive from an accident.

The focus is often on the great po' boys at R&O's but I also highly recommend their thin crust pizza. I had always eaten the R&O Po' Bpy special but one day I decided on pizza and I have never regretted it since. Waitresses are usually nice and attentive. The only issue I have is it is a family favorite and when it is crowded with loud and crying children, it can get annoying. But if you crave a great pizza or roast beef po' boy, it is worth the suffering.
