If your down and worried, don't worry Huey's is open late and near you. Of course, their are Huey's all over Memphis, but I have a special place in my heart for the Midtown Hueys and the Downtown one (closest to my apartment). Every Huey's has a friendly staff, cheap and tastey food. Also Huey's serves the coldest beer in Memphis (maybe). I always leave happier than when I walk through the door.

I got an online deal (last minute) to stay at Le Pavillon during mid July. I must say I was amazed. What a great value! I paid the same thing I have been paying to stay at staple hotels like the Marriot, but what a difference Le Pavillon was. They really seem to go an extra mile. The staff wasn't overly friendly, but they were available at a moments notice. It is a bit further from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon, but that's why I liked it. If you stay plan on taking a cab. You can get anywhere you need to go...Uptown or the Quarter within 5 blocks, but it's a tough 5 blocks. Great Hotel! Also be in the lobby at 10pm for Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhiches.
