My husband and I stayed there for a day on a weekend. We were near tons of shopping area. You can ""rent"" videos from the library. You can also use laundry for free. The rooms are decent with full size fridge, microwave, oven, pots and pans, etc.

My husband I ate here for restaurant week for lunch. The lunch special was 10.09 and you get appetizer and entree. I got the fish tacos and also the she crab soup. The she crab soup was very good. This is only the second time i have had the soup. The fish tacos were made with Mahi Mahi fish and was very good and filling. My hubby had the chicken philly cheese steak with fries and also she crab soup. The cheesesteak was decent but very greasy.

My husband and I dined here with three other people for Norfolk's restaurant week before a hockey game. We got there earlier so we could have a table for our 5 group. We all ordered off the $20 restaurant week menu. I had the roasted butternut squash soup for my appetizer and it was very good. It was served warm and tasted like a soupy pumpkin pie. For my entree I had the crab and spinach gnocchi. The dish was very well portioned (so can be considered smaller for others) and was very rich and creamy. For dessert I had the pumpkin cheesecake. Now this wasn't normal cheesecake. It looked like a little pie cup with pie crust. On top was very yummy vanilla gelato. I was able to sample the fried oysters (very good) and Shellfish Paella. The drinks we had (during happy hour) were made very strong and very good. I recommend the Long Islands!!! The only bad thing was the service. It was very slow!!! It also got very crowded as the night got longer.

My hubby stopped at this place due to a few of our friend's recommendations. We tried the pulled pork sandwhich, order of fries, and butter pecan ice cream cone. The sandwhich wasn't bad but we didnt get the extra condiments (bbq sauce, we didnt know you had to ask for) so it was just okay. The meat was very juicy and tender. The fries were typical fries. The ice cream was amazing! My husband had also got a triple thick strawberry shake. This shakes isnt a typical shake. So if you order it, be prepared to eat with a spoon.

My husband went and dined here for the evening because we are newer to the area and wanted to try something different. We got two tall beers, bottlecaps (like popppers but sliced and were super yummy). I ordered the halaburger (fish sandwhich) with onion rings and brocolli. My fish was super small and had strange tarter sauce. My husband ordered the 11oz burger and it was huge!! Their were two beef pattied on a sub style bun. They cooked the burger to perfection and very super juicy and flavorful. He got hushpuppies and onion rings with his platter.

This motel was cheap and you will get what you pay for. The rooms were small and motel was quiet. The area has tons of places to eat. The contentional breakfast wasn't of quality. I would recommended saving the calories and going down the street to Dunkin' donuts or Sonic.

My husband and I new to the area and have had bad luck with many places to eat. This chinese place is close to our home and we decided to give it a try. I got the hunan chicken combo meal which came with pork fried rice and egg roll and my hubby got sweet and sour chicken, egg roll, and pork fried rice. The meal was about 14 dollars and portions were extremely huge! My husband thought the pork fried rice was the best he ever had. I and not even a fan of the pork fried rice was very impressed.

This movie theater is relatively new and is really nice place. I have seen a few movies there since moving to the area and I can say I would go there for sure.
