I have been to Aged twice, first when it just opened and it was terrible and again recently for brunch, also terrible. I won't be going back.

A good friend of mine shopped around Astoria and after visiting several stores referred me to Helen at Astoria Flower Mart for my wedding flowers. This wonderful family run store delivered the most beautiful flowers on my wedding day. And the pricing was about 1/3 of what I was quoted from some vendors I found through the Knot. I brought some pictures of arrangements that I liked and the flowers I received on the day were close to identical but looked even better! I cannot praise enough.

I held my wedding here in June (Rialto Room) and everything was perfect! We held the ceremony in the outdoor atrium which had a really unique NYC vibe and the dinner/dancing were in the Rialto Room. The food was amazing (received nothing but compliments from my guests, even from some 'critical' family members). Though the restaurant itself is a little expensive I found the value for money for an event is exceptionally good for Manhattan. The staff were wonderful, esp. Oscar (Manager of that evening) and Rachel (Event Manager). They could not have been more helpful to us and our vendors. I have to think of another event to plan so I can throw it at Remi :)

I do love Nick's pizza and frequent at least twice a month but that's partially due to the limited selection of really good restaurants in the area...prices are a little steep and have increased recently but it won't affect my patronage. The staff crack me up though; I have been a customer for years but they never show any acknowledgement that you have been there before.

Piadina is my favorite local cozy Italian spot. Cozy, romantic and casual...delicious pasta, amazing buffalo mozzerella with a terrific wine list. I love to try new places but I keep coming back here.

Nick from Donadic was referred to me by my sister who had her entire house painted in Staten Island...he did a perfect job, even hanging back up her pictures. Courteous, professional, trust worthy, punctual..the list of pros go on..and on top of that, extremely well priced. I didn't think he would come to Queens for my apartment, but he did and in a couple of days was in and out. Can't praise enough.
