My GF and I went to Fritti's about a month ago expecting a nice dinner. \r
We had a horrible server. He came up to the table, didn't say hello or smile or welcome us, instead angrily asked ""what do you want?"" WE were completely shocked by his blatantly rude demeanor, so we asked his name and his suggestions about the menu. He literally said, ""yea its all pizza, what do you want?"" Wine bottle was not presented and he opened it while walking across the restaurant, spilt sizable amount on the table, poured into obviously dirty glasses, and gave us no prior taste. \r
After our appetizer (which was very tasty!) he grabbed our dirty forks by the tines and loudly dropped them back on the table. Next we received our pizza as it was loudly dropped on the table sending a few toppings into my lap. We had no knives, no plates, empty water glasses, and a greasy uncut pizza. HE promptly left with no offer to bring the items we needed to eat our dinner. After a few minutes of the food getting cold and being completely ignored, i went up to the server station and asked for plates, clean silverware and water, to which a tall bald guy (prob. assistant manager) rudely told me to ""Sit down."" We ate cold pizza, were covered in the wine and toppings the server spilled on us, and utterly shocked and almost humored at the worst service and experience we had ever had. After two bites of cold pizza (which was overpriced and consisted of greasy cheese on pita bread with about 5 pieces of sausage topping), the server put our check on the table and told us to please hurry and pay him. We left the check there until we finished our unremarkable dinner. After signing our bill, he took the check almost immediately (we still had wine and food to finish) and loudly cursed us on his way back to the kitchen. Needless to say I demanded to speak with the manager. Received no comped meal and will definitely not go back, EVER. \r
Digorno's and a bottle of wine at home makes for a much better date.
