    fantastic new option downtown

we were on our way to Pete's when we noticed a few enticing pastries and cakes in an intriguing window display. curious, we stuck our head in and found a diner with great early century decor, a friendly atmosphere, and an inviting menu, so we gave it a try. we were not disappointed. the food was fresh, balanced, and flavorful with good presentation. and we we're pretty sure our hip busboys were hiding under our table our water glasses were filled so promptly. \r when we were done with our meal we were shown the desserts and even though we were full we just had to try one...yummy!\r our only negative comment is that the food took a bit longer than expected to arrive and the wait staff got a few things mixed up, but this was their 12th day open and we're sure these details will be ironed out very soon.\r we can't wait to go back to try their maple doughnut with bacon sprinkles and other similarly enticing pastries one indulgent morning. and we hear they are soon to open for dinner, so stay tuned!

    caring vet

after adopting 2 kittens from the shelter i needed to find a vet in whom i can trust to take care of any problems with their health and wellbeing. Dr Garcia is most certainly that vet. she took time to talk to me and hear any concerns or questions, and most importantly took the time to thoroughly check them out. i am very pleased to find someone i can trust with my new bundles of furry energy

    so so pet care

i just adopted an underweight kitty from the shelter and wanted to have her checked up and get some information on when her vaccines were due, etc. i waited an hour (though no appointments are necessary) to see the vet for 5 minutes. she came in and breezed through the examination quickly and left without asking if i had any questions. not the kind of care i'm looking for.
