By the outside the place looks gigantic! Inside looks spotless. We were graciously greeted by the hostess, and seated at the sushi bar. The sushi chef was knowledgeable, presentation was good, but the sashimi was so fresh! Just what you should expect from a sushi bar. The dessert listing looks great but only had two items, which did not contain ice cream (gelato). We had the chocolate souffle-it was served piping hot, the inside could have been a little more gooey but was very tasty. Although it is advertised as a Chinese food restaurant-we did not try it once we saw the sushi, but the generous serving that were coming out looked and smelled delicious. We definitely will be back. This place is a keeper!

We were promptly seated at a romantic corner table. The waiter was very attentive even though his American was limited. Our drink order was promptly taken and quickly filled. We each had Mulligatawny stew with hot paan. It was delicious, the complex spices were perfect, spicy not too hot. Our meals \r
came in copper bowls over small sterno fires to keep warm, along with jasmine rice cooked to perfection.\r
I had shrimp with spinach in a yogurt sauce-it was great! And my husband had chicken in a spicy red sauce with chickpeas and other vegetables. We could not have asked for anything better! Need to reurn very soon!

We arrived early afternoon on New Year's Eve. We asked to sit by the hostess said there were no tables available. We pointed out a booth in the corner and were told that there was no waiter for that table. As we sere being seated at another table-a different hostess sat a couple at the empty table we had pointed out and a waiter promptly took there order! Not a good start. Our waitress apologized for the ""oversite"". She quickly brought fresh warm buns over. My husband ordered the fried clams and I ordered 12 oysters on the 1/2 shell. The clams were clean, tender and cooked to perfection. My oysters were cold, fresh and sweet. They were shucked correctly (separated from the shell on the bottom). I then ordered the clam chowder; it was very good and creamy but allot of potatoes. I would definitely go back.

We had early reservations on a Sunday night. We were seated promptly in the window. The waitress was polite, but not too knowledgeable about the wines. She brought over two sample sips of 2 different wines for us to help make our decision. She recited the specials and took our order quickly. After the appetizers, we had to ask for bread. My husband had the veal chop-it was large, tender and cooked to order. My pasta with shrimp was run of the mill. The dessert menu was plentiful and we were told that all desserts were homemade on the premise. The tiramisu was very disappointing-mostly whipped cream instead of mascapone and not much kaluha. Our waitress had all but disappeared when we wanted our check. All in all it was ok-we wouldn't rush back any time soon.

At 5:15 on a Thurs I was the only customer in the place. There parking lot is big. As you walk in light is at a minimum except for the sushi bar. Even though it was raining-the front door (facing rt 6) was left open. My order was promptly taken. The Sushi Chef was new, and served me a complimentary little salad. The miso soup was hot but alittle on the salty side. The plate of sashimi was beautifully arranged along with what was suppose to be a spicy tuna hand roll. I was disappointed when I bit into it and it only contained fake crab meat. The sashimi was fresh frozen but tasety. And the shrimp tempura appetizer came with 3 large shrimp, a piece of yam, onion ring, carrot and zucchini. The batter was plain and unfortunately very greasy. \r

We recently arrived for a late lunch and cocktails. The whole place was under renovations so we sat to eat at the bar. The new flatscreen TVs were so loud we could barely hear each other. We asked the barmaid 3x to please lower them but she kept forgetting. Our drinks took a few minuites to get (3 draft beers, 1 martini and one rum & coke) so I asked for menus. A few other people came in and their drink orders were taken. Again we asked for menus when we got our drinks. Then we started to notice there were flies everywhere. The couple at the end of the bar even got one in their drink! At that point we finished our drinks and left. Did the barmaid not see it before serving the couple? Maybe if her pants covered her behind her brain would have been engaged.
