Great place for drinks before or after Movie

I love the bar at Southpark. I often head over after a movie at the Fox Tower.\r \r The food at the bar is always consistent and tasty.\r There's a nice selection of wines.\r The bartender is excellent. \r \r Have only eaten in the restaurant once. So can't really comment on it.

    Great Service

I love CT Nails....they always do a great job for manis or pedis.\r \r Tip: spend the extra $20 for your pedicure and sit in the back room. It's more private and they bring you a free glass of wine!

Great place for late night drinks & eats

Casa Del Matador opened a couple of years ago. I usually find myself going there either on a Sunday night, or week night after 10 pm when nothing else seems to be open. The space is nice, especially in summer, when the windows are open.\r Service is always nice and friendly. Food is what you'd expect from a corporate restaurant. Basic Mexican. Not really good. Not horrible. Wine pours are generous.

    Not Cool

I have eaten at Mingo several times over the past few years. And have always thought the food was very good, the service friendly, and the vibe neighborhoody.\r But the last time, I was there having dinner at the bar, one of the servers went on a rant bashing another neighborhood restaurant to out-of-town guests. And the owner stood by, and watched him, without saying anything.\r It was totally unwarranted, and totally out of line. It ruined my appetite and I'm not sure when I'll go back.

    Very Glamorous Interior

i went to Gracie's several months ago with 3 friends.\r Even though the dining room was practically empty, we made a reservation and requested a specific banquette.\r Two people in our party had not yet arrived, so we told the hostess that we would have a cocktail across the hall in the lounge. \r When the rest of our party arrived, we all continued with cocktails in the lounge. When we were done, we walked across the hall to Gracie's, to find, even though the restaurant was practically empty, that our table had been given away.\r Later in the evening, we learned that our table had been given away to friends of someone on staff. Because, even though our food took forever to arrive, someone from the kitchen, and the hostess, kept running back and forth from the kitchen to chat with their friends ""at our table"", while oblivious to our table's lack of service.\r \r The food was OK hotel food.\r \r I called the next day to speak to the manager, and they became very defensive.\r \r The setting is lovely....but our experience was lackluster.

    Consistent

I have eaten at Paley's now about 6 times over the past 3 years. Have never had a bad experience.\r \r With the exception of popcorn in truffle oil served as an amuse bouche. Not that it was bad. Just didn't think it was so good.\r \r It's pricey. I say very expensive. But if you're going out for a special occasion, it's a good bet.\r \r On the downside, I'm pretty sure you have be over 70 to get in.

    BEST SPOT IN NORTHWEST PORTLAND

.I've been going to Cafe Nell for about a year now.\r I absolutely LOVE it.\r Have eaten breakfast, lunch, happy hour, dinner, and brunch there. Always a good experience. It's quickly become my ""go to"" spot in the neighborhood.\r The staff is always friendly. The food is excellent and affordable. \r \r Only drawbacks are that it's been discovered, and sometimes gets really busy. And can get a little noisy. \r \r
