    Try This Place Now

Seriously go eat there now!\r You will not be disappointed. \r \r Be forewarned that if you call in a to go order they will not drop your fries in the fryer till you get there. But that is just so you don't get sawgy fries! What to try? My personal favorites are the bacon cheeseburger and the french dip, but anything you get will be delicious. It kind of gives me that great after-thanksgiving-meal feeling of sleepiness and satisfaction. Pete and Granville are the best employees there. Oh and if you like ranch with your fries don't hesitate to ask, it is home made and it is the best I've ever tasted.

Kept my dog there for 7 hours with an appointment!!

I remember taking my dog to this place when I was just a kid. They always did a wonderful job, and were very nice. I've heard some new owners took over at some point, and now things are different. Recently, I made an appointment for early in the morning (they said that was the best time to bring her in) and got my dog there by 8:50 a.m. I filled out my information card and circled and starred my cell phone number for contact even telling the person at the desk to call me on this number. Well, they didn't call my cell phone, they only called my house...one time. Why ask for a cell phone if you don't plan on using it? This previous time, when I dropped my dog off at 8:50, I didn't get her back until 4:30 and that was because I went to their store. I had called to check up on her at 2 o'clock and was told that it would be at least 2 more hours till she was ready. Apparently, they mixed up my dog with another, and my dog was already ready. But why make an appointment if they're not going to start until the afternoon? I called another groomer close by and they said for 45 dollars they would have my dog cut in at most an hour. For 6 dollars more, I think I'll take it to the other place.

    Best steaks in charlotte PERIOD.

The Wine- 2004 Malbec was decanted and served, has good legs on the wine and a nice smooth taste.\r The Beer- Dogfish Head IPA, out of bottle, wonderful as usual. Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale, out of bottle, wonderful. \r The Appetizers- Perfectly cooked shrimp, with two kinds of sauces, the crab cakes were the best I've ever had, the sauce made it.\r The Salad- Caesar salad was great, looked like lettuce chips with tasty parmesan cheese and the dressing was wonderful with just a hint of anchovies. Nice huge croutons!\r The Side Items- Asparagus and cheese potatoes were great, the asparagus was cooked well with a nice snap when bitten into. And the potatoes complimented the steak well.\r The Steak- 8 oz. Filet Mignon med/rare perfectly cooked and seasoned, a subtle taste of butter on the palate comes through nicely.\r The Dessert- free with our party since we were celebrating a birthday. They didn't come out singing and embarrassing us which I liked. We had a chocolate cake with raspberry sauce with vanilla ice cream. While not a huge fan of dark chocolate the cake was undeniably delectable alone, pairing it with the ice cream made it even better. \r The Service- Best service I've ever had. 3 waiters served us, one waiter in particular, Edward, was outstanding!\r Worth the price and service in my opinion.
