Fun people over here. Went one night for a birthday party and danced up a storm. It's tight quarters so when it gets full it can get a bit crowded, especially with those dancer's who take up way too much room b/c of lack of coordination, you know what im talking about. But overall, a good buy in the lower east side with great hip hop.
Old Lahaina Luau
1251 Front St, Lahaina, HI 96761
What you pay for is the experience. A fantastic show, pretty good luau food and a great view of the ocean in the background. The dancers were excellent, shaking their hulas like there was no tomorrow. The service at the table and the bar was extremely welcoming. By far the best luau in maui and one that blends well authenticity with commercialism. Reservations are recommended, but I arrived w/o them. You'll have to wait a bit, but it's worth it. Everyone gets a good view of the show, but seating on the matted floor right up to the stage is the best view!
Indigo Eurasian Cuisine
1121 Nuuanu Ave Ste 105, Honolulu, HI 96817
the outdoor seeating, waitresses dressed in sultry chinese print dresses, the sounds of the rock fountain in the background and the most phenomenal pan seared fish pacific fish i've ever tasted make this by far the best of the waikiki area restaurants that i've sampled. This rare combination of a full dining experience that is romantic, worth your money and delectable is a must dine! There's even a little ""green room"" with a bar for drinks afterwards.
Royal Kona Resort
75-5852 Alii Dr, Kailua Kona, HI 96740
This is a place that you stay in Kona for economic reasons. It's a good place to crash but you get what you pay for. They charge for the coffee ($3.50 for a 10% Kona Blend packet), pool towels have to be returned and your view depends. Stayed here for three nights, and it was more than adequate for what I needed, just to expect the royal treatment. The morning buffet is good as well as it's location. A great place to watch the sunset.
Prima Pasta Cafe
414 71st St, Miami Beach, FL 33141
Great for a first date, went this past January 8th and had the halibut. Date had the special, which was spinach and mahi mahi. Service was more than adequate and the drinks were good, the apple martini was tasty by report. Overall, a fantastic evening in the middle of South beach. Italian food and a great evening.
1104 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Went here the first week of January the food, atmosphere and service were able to offset my less than stellar company. The bartender was friendly and gave great recommendations as to the night life and the waitress was quite attentive once i sat down to eat. Make no fish bones about it, this is a pricy place that has both high priced saki and expensive sushi. If you don't mind makind the investment and actually want your date to know how much you are throwing down, this is definitely a place to go.
