We had a nice meal a couple of nights ago when the weather was warm-sat outside, which may have attributed to the groups of LOUD people next to us. Not loud having a good time, but obnoxious loud. Started with the garlic potato dip which was delicious. We enjoy being left alone when having dinner, however sometimes the wait between checking in on the table was a bit long. We had the mousaka and just a grilled shriimp with sauteed spinach which was done nicely-I would have liked to see the what the spinach was cooked in strained from the dish a little more, but over all done well.

We were a bit concerned about the size of the room after reading reviews on alternate websites, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was on the 8th floor-plenty of room for three people, and the double beds were comfortable. The shower leaked a little if you switched it to the rain head, but other than that no complaints. The staff was helpful and polite, and being in the union square area it was perfect for what we needed-not to mention the outrageous interior decorating of the rooms!

My sister and I were staying in the area for the weekend, and went looking for a place to get a quiet drink before our dinner reservations, and stumbled across Molly's. Having the same namesake it clearly was fate. The place is fantastic! Semi-dark, relaxed atmosphere, the perfect place to have a couple of beers and wind down. We went back the next night and the bartender remembered not only that we were in there the night before, but what we had been drinking-and it's always great when there is smithwicks on tap!
