I just had one of the best meals I ever had in Los Angeles! The food is fresh, creative, and yummy. We first started off with a lobster bisque. We ordered one because we wanted to share everything and ordered quite a few things to have a nice tasting meal. Our very friendly waitress brought us a second bisque complements from the chef. There goes the idea of not over stuffing myself. But why would I say no to something so yummy that is on the house? 2nd course we had the Sea Urchin scramble eggs with truffles. It was one of the best scrambled eggs I eve had. I think they could had also added some caviar or Salmon eggs (if they wanted to cut down on the cost) to make it more interesting. But I am not complaining! The 3rd course we had was foir gras. I think its one of the best foir gras I had ever had. The great thing about their foir gras is that it doesn't feel too heavy and greasy. It had a smooth fish to it. This dish was our favorite. 4th course we had the veal served with creamy mash potatoes and the veal reduction gravy and a side order of fired eggplant with nasu-miso. The veal melted in my mouth. It was very delicious and the eggplant was very good too. You can tell the chef put a lot of thought in creating these dishes. The combinations sang in perfect harmony! I was already full by the time the 4th course came out and still ate a bit because it was so delicious. Our waitress asked if we wanted to order desert. It was tempting but we passed and asked for or check. She came back with our check and a complimentary desert which was the poach pears. Like I said I was already full before the 4th course and after eating the 4th course I still ate my yummy poach pear. It was semi sweet and perfectly light after all of that food. I don't know how I had room. I would defiantly come here again. Its defiantly a great find.

I highly recommend this place. The service was very friendly. The food is amazing there! It has a great atmosphere as well. Every time I go to Portland from Los Angeles I have to stop in. I highly recommend the smoked salmon bruschetta, tom yum soup, and butternut squash ravioli or Grilled jumbo Prawns. I have never had one average meal there. Everything in the menu is yummy! The prices are so reasonable too. Comming form LA there are a lot of fancy restaurants but the food is not as good and the prices are 3 times more.
