Scotti's Italian Eatery
882 E 185th St, Cleveland, OH 44119
The dining area is clean, comfortable and semi-cozy. Salads, pizza, entrees - you can't go wrong no matter what you pick on the menu! Let's not forget their focaccia bread with dipping oil. The best I've ever had. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Nothing on the menu is set in stone. Drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts are all excellent and reasonably priced. Parking is free. The only downside is its cash or check only, which is a step backwards in the 21st century. There is also a fenced-in patio for when the weather turns warm. There is something for everyone at Scotti's.

I made a reservation based on a recommendation of a work acquaintenance. The dining area was cramped and cold. (I don't think the management turned on the heat until they opened the doors. My date kept her coat on throughout the dinner!) Service was moderate to slow. The stemware is over-sized. Our 'glass of wine' looked puny in the large glass. Menu is over priced and inflexible (no substitutions). The entree was good but ""child-sized"", in my opinion. The sides (Except the mashed potatoes - go figure!) were equally small in portion. Bread was complimentary, but nothing more than store-bought, cut and served cold. We passed up dessert so we could leave without paying a $100 bill. All-in-all, we left cold, hungry and broke. Extremely disappointed. We had to eat again only a couple of hours later! You're better off at any other number of reasonably-priced eating establishments in the immediate area.
