Don Brown Chevrolet

We had a low-speed side-impact collision that resulted in body damage, and we took our car to the Don Brown Collision Center because it was recommended by our insurance company. Big mistake. It took three weeks and three trips back to the shop before everything seemed fixed (fingers crossed).
Both the driver's side door and the rear driver's side door needed to be replaced. When we got the car back the first time, the driver's side mirror didn't work. Turned out the repair tech had neglected to ""plug it in all the way."" Then there was a noise coming from the driver's side door when we were on the highway, like the door wasn't closed all the way. If you just looked at the door with any sort of scrutiny, you could see it wasn't aligned properly, and the window was sticking when the door was opened. We took the car back and were told that, despite ""hours and hours"" of trying to diagnose the problem, the noise couldn't be fixed. It wasn't until we pointed out that the door itself looked crooked and the window was sticking that they saw the problem, and even then, they told us it would have nothing to do with the strange whistling noise. Let me repeat: It took two untrained, mechanically disinclined car owners (using nothing more than the naked eye) to point out to the ""professionals"" at Don Brown that the door they installed wasn't installed correctly. And guess what? Once they fixed it (hopefully for the last time), the wind noise stopped. Go figure.
