She truly cares about her business, and it shows. It is a reflection of her. The food and service never disappoints!!! We used Special Occasions Catering for our June 2015 wedding. First, let me say that it was the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. The food, decorations and service were TOP-NOTCH!!

Special Occasions took care of all the decorating of the reception hall, which is also where we held the ceremony. We had other plans to have the ceremony (private) at a different location. However, we changed our minds at the last minute because of how beautiful SOC made the hall look. Our guests repeatedly told us that they had never seen the place look so amazing!

SOC prepared one of the best meals we had ever had in our lives. We had shrimp cocktail, stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta, and more for appetizers. For dinner: Prime Rib, Chicken Florentine, Tri-color roasted potatoes, spinach salad and more. All the food was phenomenal!!! It’s been months since our wedding and we often still think of how amazing the food was and wish that we could eat it again. The cake and deserts, also prepared by SOC, were right up there with the rest of the food. The staff was very efficient and professional. They had everything ready for us and nobody left hungry. They even packaged and prepared all the leftover food for us to take home.

It is well known that a bride and groom only want their special day to be perfect and memorable for themselves and for their guests. Well SOC did just that for us! Our guests are still talking and will be for a long time, about how beautiful and wonderful our entire reception was.

Special Occasions Catering executed our wedding reception PERFECTLY!! They are an outstanding catering company with exceptional customer service and talent. We would highly recommend this catering company to anyone and everyone.

Special Occasions catered our November wedding. The staff and service were outstandingly efficient and professional, meeting any needs for us and our guests. They took care of the delicious food and beautiful decorations. ALL of the food was absolutely amazing; especially the steak medallions, Italian chicken, cheesy potatoes, and corn casserole. The decorations were soooo trendy and elegant; and match perfectly to our colors of deep purple, black, and silver. Our guests raved about the food and décor for weeks!!!! This catering company exceeded all expectations and helped make our wedding day PERFECT!!! We highly recommend their services to everyone.

I was very displeased with their service and would not recommend it to anyone. While I attended a wedding one of the servers splashed me with butter from the potatoes while transferring dishes. In which she replied "opps sorry". So I didn't want to make a big deal out of it in the middle of the wedding reception, so I called the following Monday asking for the company to cover the dry cleaning it would cost me so my dress wouldn't be ruined (which was only about $18). Mind you this is not a matter of money to me, it's principle. Well after about a month I still did not receive a check so I called back. The manager I talked to said she talked with all of the staff and no one spilled anything on my dress and they would not be sending me a check. Her reason as to why she did not call me back was because "this is the busiest season of the year". Therefore I would just like to warn anyone about this company. It's not about the money but the way the situation was handled. She acted like I made the entire thing up. Therefore, I can only imagine how things would turn out if I actually had a problem if they ever catered an event I held. And to be honest I wasn't impressed with the food either. I hope this review will at least help someone save themselves some trouble in the future.FYI I would give this business zero stars if this website allowed it.
