After reading their Yelp review, I contacted Broughton online and after emailing them photos of the work I needed done, they provided me an estimate and we scheduled an appointment for the following week. They just left and I'm incredibly pleased by their work. They were clean and timely as well as reasonably priced. I had some drywall damage and cracks underneath a window and at the corner of a doorway from last year's earthquake. Additionally, I had some unidentified bumps on my bathroom ceiling I thought might be mildew. Tony arrived on time (8 am) and made the assessment. I left home and returned 2.5 hours to find everything looking beautiful. In addition to the repairs I requested, Tony also informed me about the mildew and what they did to remove it. They told me that if I had any issues with their work to just give them a call.

He has been a member of Broughton Painting for 45 years! He helps to manage new construction and residential projects, and is particularly proficient in drywall repairs and spraying.

Decks
I highly recommend Tony Broughton and his team. I found them on Yelp and hired them to paint the whole interior of my new condo. They gave me a very reasonable estimate, were able to fit me in within a couple of weeks, did a great job, and kept the price of the work to the estimate. I then got my HOA to hire them to stain and seal all of the building's decks and paint the back of our building. Again, they gave us a reasonable estimate, were able to do the work quickly, did a great job and didn't charge a dime over their estimate. They were also very helpful in making paint color recommendations and always left their work areas as clean, if not cleaner, than they found them. Finally, they were courteous and very professional. Due to a misunderstanding one day with some other contractors working on our building (which I attribute to the other contractors), they couldn't paint one day and had to reschedule the work. I'm sure that was a big inconvenience for them, but Tony was so gracious about the whole thing and didn't charge anything extra for the lost time.
Siding
We hired Broughton Painting and Decorating to put a fresh coat of paint on our exterior wood siding and to paint a few hard-to-reach interior surfaces including our main staircase. They did a superb job and were very professional. The crew arrived promptly and worked efficiently, and Mr. Broughton or his son, Tony, were on-site personally to discuss options with us and to ensure that the work was completed to our satisfaction. Broughton Painting also saved us from having potentially serious problems in the future by identifying and replacing a rotting stud and siding boards. We highly recommend Broughton Painting and Decorating and will definitely hire them again.

Caulking
I did a search on Yelp, and Broughton Painting came up. They are really professional, courteous, and were very timely. My questions and emails were answered right away, and they called to confirm the date and time a day ahead. We even added a room last minute, and they were more than accommodating. We have just installed brand new hard wood floors and carpets and were a bit nervous. We have yet to find a paint splatter or drip, and the paint lines around the bathroom caulking is impeccable. They did such an excellent job - I couldn't have been happier. Good painters are hard to find, and I'll never use another company.
