I had been strolling along University drive last week looking for a Valentines day gift when I was suddenly handed some samples by two ladies standing outside a store I had never seen before in Palo Alto. Curious and intrigued by this new mystery store and the posh style of the ladies, I walked into the store to see what its all about. The ladies sat me down and offered me a free demonstration of the products, which I had accepted as I love this kind of stuff. All the products smelled so good and made my face feel really fresh. The ladies made me feel pampered and I ended up buying two of the cleansers, a moisturizing cream, and the ladies even threw in a free hand cream with my purchase (which also smells amazing) along with a voucher for a free 30 minute introductory facial. I went home and have been using and really liking the products for about a week now. My boyfriend has even been using the cleanser too as it smells good but not girly..so def a win win in my home (good thing I bought two). I give Infinite Beauty 5 stars as I never really had quite an experience comparable to this one in a store before. I mean who ever gives out free stuff anymore? (Maybe Sephora with like 100k rewards points that take forever and lots of money spent to rack up) I can say I definitely enjoyed my experience in this store because the ladies there were really knowledgeable and sociable and actually sold/gave me some pretty awesome products that really work on me. The cleanser literally takes all my makeup off in one wash. I never found a product that wasn't a "makeup remover" that takes off all my heavy mascara and liner. Also, the style of the store is fresh, young and modern, which I think fits in great downtown. I highly recommend this store for the ladies in Palo Alto! They have awesome products. I will definitely be back with some girlfriends and for my free facial of course :)
When my parents where in China, they went to one of those little places that has those buckets where you soak your feet for awhile, then get a GREAT foot massage based on pressure points and reflexology. My dad LOVED it, so when he came home, we tried our best to find something that offered the same services. Unfortunately, this was a couple of years ago and we couldn't find anyplace close enough to allow for frequent maintenence visits. Then, so our joyous suprise, Happy Feet opened up right in our neighborhood. Currently they are having a grand opening special of $25 for the foot treatment plus a one hour massage. We went this past weekend and it was GREAT! You have one large, dark room full of super comfy pleather-ish recliners where everyone sits together, fully clothed and covered with extra towels for modesty while your feet soak in a plastic bag lined bucket. The chairs and foot stools are covered for santiation and you can hear them fill the tubs with fresh water each time. They aren't sure of their future pricing, but I would highly recomend taking advantage of the special offer. At first I worried about being a room with so many other people, but honestly, once she started working on my neck and shoulders, I forgot anyone else was there. With the focus more on body alignment and pressure release, I don't think the term massage does it justice. Fair warning: because they are accessing pressure points, it can hurt while they are applying pressure and rubbing, but once they stop, the pain goes away and suddenly something on the other side of your body will feel relaxed for the first time in years. We all plan on visiting this place for as long as they stay open, so it will be fun to see how they grow and change as they become more settled.
I came to the Infinite Beauty store to redeem a discounted facial offer I received and was immediately impressed by the clean and relaxing atmosphere. My esthetician walked me through each and every process so I was never caught off guard. She was very thorough and knowledgeable and offered to let me choose from a variety of product lines that they carry while explaining the benefits of each of them. I can tell the staff is passionate about what they do and they are genuinely interested in making you look your best. The only downside was that I needed to call a few times to get my appointment set up but I can definitely say that it was well worth the wait.
