Brunson Equestrian Center

This is the best place for a young rider. Kim is wonderful. She works with your schedule and truly has the horse and riders best interests at heart. My daughter has lessons from Renee and she loves her. Renee is kind and encouraging and so so patient, but she is demanding at the same time. Renee builds my daughter's confidence and teachers her to ride better. However, she also gets on her when she knows my daughter can do better. She is also her biggest cheerleader. Everyone at Brunson is nice and very helpful. My daughter has found her happy place.

The atmosphere at Brunson Equestrian Center is truly amazing. Kim Brunson is extremely passionate about educating youth and adults about quality horsemanship, horse care, and riding. Each and every day that I am at the BEC, I go home learning something new. I also love seeing how well taken care of the horses are on the property. All of their horses are happy, healthy and receiving the best care possible. I have enjoyed my time at Brunson Equestrian Center and am so glad I found this facility. The staff, boarders, and youth and adults that take lessons have truly become family. Even though I am over 1000 miles from my home state of Minnesota, I always feel right at home when I am at Brunson Equestrian Center.

Wonderful equestrian center. Kim Brunson was so nice & very accomodaing. Me, my fiance' Joe, & our twin Granddaughters Mya & Lexi had such a wonderful experience! The ranch is so beautiful. So many wonderful reviews on here! I just dont get it!!!! We had horrible experiences on each of our 4 visits!!! Kim Brunson is the most arrogant, unprofessional, so-called trainer that I have ever encountered!!!! She gladly took our money for private lessons, but sent us teenagers younger than 16 to train my daughter on three of the four visits!!! The last visit she sat in her truck and yelled at the kids on what they were doing wrong!!! My daughter was in tears because she had no idea what Ms. Brunson was talking about and what she wanted her to do!!! My daughter stated that Ms. Brunson accused her of daydreaming and not listening! I paid for a private lesson and got a group lesson on the last visit...which was today!! She never introduced herself on our first visit! I texted her when we arrived and she sent a 15 year old to train! I texted her upon leaving and told her that I would have liked to have at least met her and have had the lesson with her and not a child! The next visit she did make an appearance, but still did not train my daughter! She was too busy competing in the events! She asked for us to volunteer at the IEA event, so we agreed in hopes we would learn more about the place and meet the owners and staff better, but we were just dumped onto the other volunteers and kids that were helping out. Never told us what to do, other than being a “handler”, or what was expected of us. We didn’t know what a “handler” did. She told us to report to the person overseeing that part and she wasn’t sure either what we were supposed to do! Kim acted like she didn’t want to be bothered! Our last visit was today! Ms. Brunson had the nerve to tell me that she wouldn’t be where she was today by treating people bad and being on the Lord’s path! HA! I sure would’ve liked to have received some of that blessing then for my daughter!!

Wow! Beautiful horseback riding facility right here in Tyler! Offers lessons, trail rides, clinics and summer camp. I am an adult beginner and am so happy to have this available to me. BEC is part of the Texas Rose Horse Park offering national level competitions and horse shows... check it out!

Brunson Equestrian Center is the premier center in East Texas! Beautiful facilities, arena, dressage pads, barns and grounds, great staff, excellent training and Kim Brunson is an excellent riding instructor. My daughter is taking lessons and her progression with Kim is incredible! I highly recommend Brunson Equestrian Center for any of your equestrian needs

Great, friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Very knowledgeable and experienced staff, beautiful East Texas scenery and the trail riding horses are well trained, safe, and experienced.
