I like Chinese, my wife likes Mexican food. I really like both, but I get tired of Mexican food all the time. We saw the Pancho Pandas open and my son and I gave it a try. We were later, so the buffet was closed. We tried the combo king pau, (forgive the spelling) It had shrimp, chicken and pork. We both enjoyed it and the price, I think was 7.99 or maybe 8.99. The quaintly was plenty, the taste was great. Sunday was the big day. I took my wife there. It was noon and the buffet was running. We took a critical look at the buffet before we sat down. On the way I looked at some of the plates, they all looked yummy. The buffet was clean and very fresh looking. Friends, the food was great and it was an outstanding compromise. She said the Mexican was good and I thought the Chinese was super. The price $7.99 for Sunday, $6.99 during the week, noon only.

I love Cheng's. It was a nice change from all the fast food and buffet Asian restaurants here in Tyler. A beautiful place, and the staff was wonderful. Had the duck which was amazing. Drinks were wonderful, loved the Cheng's Mai Tai. Overall my new favorite Tyler restaurant.
Cheng's China Bistro is finally open. We ate there tonight and the food was awesome! Service was excellent and the staff were courteous and friendly. It is great to have them in this part of Tyler. If I had a complaint it would be they serve too much food.
