As a teacher in the Tulsa Public School System, my Dad was a charter member of the Tulsa Teacher's Credit Union. In our family this Credit Union was a constant. My parents were both members, all three of their daughters were members, and most of their Grandchildren are members. My association with TTCU started with a savings account when I was 16 years old. Now 50 years later, I have the same savings account along with a checking account, auto loan account, and a Visa card. These accounts are now the primary banking accounts for my husband and I. We have closed all but one of our other banking accounts in favor of this one because of the hometown, personal attention we feel we get from TTCU. I think my Dad was right when he presented me with a Credit Union passbook (we used to use passbooks) and admonished me to take care of it because it would become one of the most valuable assets I would own.
I've been a member of the credit union for 13 years and have yet to have a bad experience. The virtual branch and MARCIA are not HARD to work if you know how to operate a computer i.e. move your mouse around and click on links or know how to talk on a phone. If you ever need help with online banking then you could always CALL YOUR CREDIT UNION and they will walk you through the process even if it take you 15 minutes to complete anything because you are computer illiterate. The employees are always helpful and well informed, I wouldn't go anywhere else =)
TTCU has the best rates around. The employees are extreamly friendly and helpful. I have been a member since 1991 and would not go anywhere else. I do all of my business with TTCU including my mortage. Everything is under one roof. They help the schools with the school pride card. They also pay me a member reward dividend on top of my regualr dividend. They are WONDERFUL!! I give them A+!!
