Bathroom Remodeling

Flooring
As part of a whole home remodel, we brought new life to this mid-century kitchen. Continuous hardwood flooring compliments the subtle shades-of-white motif featuring custom cabinets, backsplashes and quartzite counters. Matching high-end stainless steel appliances fit perfectly into the presentation with just the right proportions and placement. Door Installation/Replacement
New windows and doors were installed along with new LED lighting. An overall view of the finished great room is enhanced by the light filtering through the new bank of Pella windows and doors on the west side of the home. The 16-ft tall cast stone fireplace was added to provide a major focal point. A custom chandelier hangs from the Knotty Alder ceiling, while decorative knotty Alder Lock Miter Beams separate the ceiling into three distinct sections.
Basement Remodeling

Framing
An open floor plan allows guests to intermingle at social events. A cast stone fireplace with an original oil painting above serves as a focal point in the great room. The beauty of the paintings in both rooms is brought to life using framing projector lights that are hidden in the ceiling. The stacked moldings that are visible in this photo are carried throughout the center of the home.
Tile Installation
This main bathroom suite is very large making it a fantastic aging-in-place example. Luxurious Quartzite abounds along with light toned wood-look tile flooring. Advanced shower controls provide overhead water delivery as well as handheld. Heated flooring and seating make for an easy, comfortable experience. And, traditional styling brings the presentation together.

Staircases
Carpeting
This custom home theater has sound traps in both corners and features extensive acoustical treatment in the walls, ceiling and floor. These have been engineered to completely isolate it from the surrounding living space. The theater includes custom speakers, a Lutron Radio RA total home control system, tiered seating, custom carpeting, LED Lighting, and an acoustically transparent screen.
Home Theater Installation
Skylight Repair/Replacement
This user-friendly living space bridges the gap between the existing home and in-ground pool. The addition includes a wet bar, a sauna, steam shower, separate bath and changing room. A tile floor was installed to minimize the inherent problems of wet bathing suits dripping on walking surfaces. The open feeling for the room was created with a cathedral ceiling that included six Velux skylights in the roof line and a set of six windows on the west side.
Cabinet Installation

Room Additions
A shuffleboard playing surface sits in front of the stairway to a guest bedroom on the second level. A full bath, kitchenette and living room complete the guest quarters which were added as an integral part of the game room addition.
New Construction
Sunrooms
A new home office, master bathroom and master closet were added to the second story over the sunroom creating an expansive master suite. Three quarries were contacted and became sources for the multi-colored slate roof. As a result, the new and existing roofs are perfect matches. The unique stucco appearance of the second level was duplicated by our stucco subcontractor, who “punched” the fresh stucco with rag wrapped hands.

Landscaping and Fencing

Landscaping
Beautiful landscaping nicely frames the entrance while allowing the architectural form to breathe. Breathing room reveals (all of) the intricate stone work and the overall configuration of the structure. Just right. This is one of our favorite projects.
Driveways
This custom bar was fabricated from a combination of solid black ebony with inlaid brass accents. A wine refrigerator, elaborate liquor storage, and a spacious serving counter coupled with a hidden flat screen TV provide the environment for the owner to entertain his guests. The view from the bar through a 20’ wall of windows follows the winding driveway from the home to the street.
Retaining Walls

Window Installation/Replacement
The Owners purchased this home and the adjoining property with the idea that it become the center of activity for both their children and their friends. A seven-piece door and window assembly add architectural interest to the 600 sq. ft. multi-purpose room that integrates the swimming pool to the existing structure.
Patios
Enlarged and relocated Pella Architectural Series casement windows were installed. Wilshire Copper Dormers were custom fabricated by Beach Sheet Metal of Sunnyvale, Texas and added to the roof. A new cast stone porch, two patios and cast stone trim were designed into the new face of the home. More than 500,000 lbs. of custom cast stone by Stone Legends of Dallas, Texas were meticulously installed. Landscaping was added as construction was completed.
Gutters
A new hip roof was installed over the porch to allow additional light into the interior. Pella Architectural Series windows and a door were added, providing direct access to the Great Room and its 20-ft ceiling. Custom cast stone pillars and crown molding were fabricated by Stone Legends of Dallas, Texas. Copper guttering and a new concrete tile roof were added to complete the transformation of the porch from boring to beautiful.
Garage Door Repair/Replacement
Simulated cedar shakes by Louisiana Pacific replaced the existing jumbled assembly of siding. A new brick paver covered porch and matching stairs were built. For safety, the stairs and porch are electrically heated by a SunTouch outdoor heating system. Dry stacked stone was installed over the concrete blocks, a walnut entry door and overhead garage door overlay were installed.
Siding
Gracefully curved sidewalks lead from the new driveway and auto court, along the south side of the house to the rear yard. Completely surrounded by a privacy fence the yard includes a play area for children and a salt-water pool for relaxing during the dog days of summer. Stained railcar siding covers the cathedral ceiling and tastefully matches the color of the cedar fence.
Porches
Architectural accuracy is created on both the front and rear porches by using HB&G PermaCast columns. The custom entry door has leaded and beveled glass inserts that were created to provide a combination of both privacy and beauty to the entry hall.

Painting
Insulation
Custom cedar shutters by Timberlane Wood Crafters surround the Windsor divided light replacement windows on this whole home remodel. Fixed Rogue Valley true divided light French doors finish out two walls of the sunroom. Crane-Board foam backed vinyl siding provides added insulation and unifies the front, sides, and rear of the home.
Masonry
A beautiful cast-stone fireplace mantle from Stone Legends of Dallas, Texas anchors one end of this elaborate outdoor patio. A true masonry fireplace provides warmth for the owner and his guests for fireside chats on cool nights.
