I bought a brand new 2016 Jeep Cherokee about a week ago, Sunday on our way to church it started making a noise and jerked when you accelerated after you stopped at a stop light or stop sign. Made an appointment for 10:30 the next morning, took it in and they gave us a loaner vehicle which was nice but completely shocked that we are already having problems with a brand new vehicle. They called the next day to let us know that the gears were installed incorrectly and that the parts were completely destroyed and were shocked that it ran as far as it did. They are ordering new parts and have to rebuild the back end of the Jeep. I will not get it back till next week. Keep in mind this is a brand new vehicle and I understand that mistakes happen but not a good first experience. I placed 3 calls today to a Justin F. and left him a detailed voicemail about what I am dealing with and how upset I am. He never returned my phone calls. So not only a bad first impression on the quality of the vehicle I am also disappointed in the fact that the sales manager cannot even return a customers phone call! Definitely will tell all my friends and family to never use them!

Fyi. The sales people will cuss at you and be rude if they don't get what they want. I won't ever do business with South Pointe.

Very negative experience. I won't be going back. Took my car in for 100k mile checkup. Result was I needed a replacement oil pan. Estimate $598 charge. I looked up the part, less than $100. She also said I need four new tires. I had several knowledgeable people tell me my tires are fine. When I got the call that the work was done, the price jumped $50. After expressing my outrage at this, she "found" a $50 coupon that took me back to the original quoted price.

Do not set foot in the service department. We have been there 6 times and the problem is still not fixed. They will lie to you and withhold important information ... not to mention they charge more than twice what other places will.

We have now purchased two vehicles from South Pointe Chrysler and we have been very pleased both times.

James has done a great job working with me. I feel like I might have gotten that one truck that always has problems, but he has always been very nice and respectful.

DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!! very shady, i was told i had a loan on the car i am driving, i have had it over a month, just barely received the loan. been back to the dealership re-signed paperwork, over and over again. they are holding my down payment which is supposed to be refunded back to me. they are now telling me they have to hold it for several days before they can refund, EVEN THOUGH IT HAS CLEARED. I will never go back to this dealer again.
STAY CLEAR OF THIS ONE!!!!
