I specialize in helping individuals overcome depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. I also coach people in finding their life's passion and overcoming obstacles that are getting in the way. I have a passion for helping families who are struggling with parenting issues and especially adolescents who are out of control. I work with families overcome with loss and grief issues. I work with blended family issues and families going through divorce.

I see individuals, couples, adolescents and families in my practice. I sometimes do groups, such as couples groups and men's groups as the need arises. I am certified by the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative to teach PREP, preparedness enrichment program for couples. I also teach parenting and do parenting consultation. I coach people in life skills as well.

I am an AAMFT licensed marital and family therapist with 28 years in the helping profession. I began my career "at the bottom" so to speak. I was a resident counselor in a coed residential treatment center for adolescent youth. While there I got my masters degree and became an on staff family therapist. I also worked at St. John Hospital as a Senior Family Therapist on the adolescent acute care unit, the adolescent day treatment program and outpatient care for 8 years total. I am now in private practice.

I was a resident counselor in a coed residential treatment center for adolescent youth, whom were wards of the court. While there I got my masters degree and became an on staff family therapist. I also worked at St. John Hospital as a Sr. Family therapist on the adolescent acute care unit and the adolescent day treatment program and outpatient for 8 years total. I am in private practice now.
