Affordable Pet Care Veterinary Clinic

This vet clinic has some of the best staff ever; thet treated my cat, whiskers amazingly ! :) Laura is a sweet woman who deserves a lot of recognition, she definitely deserves to have her own business, but that is what makes APC even better, she is a kind woman, she picked me and a kitty that I took in off of the streets, she even stopped by QT and got my mom animals and I snacks :) plus a ride home and she helped me bathe my kitty due to skin problems... Laura is an awesome woman and I would be happy to do anything for her too because she deserves good people in her life... She is definitely leaving her mark in this world, in my opinion we can all learn a lot from people like Laura because if we all were kind and not intimidating than we all would be able to be more caring, trusting, and nurturing ; those are just a few words that describe her plus APC is one of the best vet clinics near the Tulsa region, in my opinion. :) Thank you guys for helping me to keep my kitties healthy; they are my Albis/reasons for living. :D

This place is the best!!! Have been going there for 4 years now.They treat my girls like one of their own!! That is BIG to me.. They go above & beyond service. The staff up front( Yes, Laura in particular) ROCKS!!!!!

I've been taking my dog here his entire life and they have never let us down! Reading through the comments seeing one comment that was the same on other pages to by the same person who just keeps giving bad reviews really bothers me. Because I've been to this clinic and I've been very satisfied with the care they give my dog. They are affordable and a great place to go to!!

This clinic is by far the BEST veterinary hospital around! I Have been going to them for over a year now, and I would not want anyone else caring for my animals! They are very loving and gentle, and they always are respectful and mindful when it comes to doing anything without consulting your permission first! They let you know the cost up front so there are no surprises!



I wanted to tell you about an experience that I had with my cat Grace over this weekend. (Which happened to be Father's Day) On Saturday, she went outside (Like she does all the time! She is an indoor / outdoor cat!) and came back in awhile later as usual! I didn't notice anything at first, and then a few hours later, my husband said, "Lisa, there is something wrong with your cat!" I said, "Why? What's wrong with her?" And then he said, "Look at her face, something bad happened to her." I took one look at her, and I completely freaked out! Her face was so swollen, and it looked as if her eye was going to practically pop out. (Literally) I was in a state of panic, and so I immediately called the vet! It was after hours, so I left a message! Scott (The owner) called me back, and helped me tremendously! He told me steps to take to help her until I could get her into the vet on Monday. (today!) He also advised me to take her to emergency vet to get her through the night if need be, but I was able to avoid that just by the advice he gave me! I constantly checked on her, and when I had to leave, I wasn't gone long! When I got to the vet this morning, her condition had improved 1000%, but I still wanted to make sure there was no damage to her eye! Lindsey, (The vet's assistant) and the vet (Dr. Smith) were both phenominal with her! Dr. Baker is also a phenominal vet! I cannot give enough praise to this clinic! The care and service they give is unmatched, Seriously, what other vet clinic is going to call and talk with you several times on a National holiday when everyone is closed? Scott was beyond amazing, and I could not thank him enough for his kindness, compassion, and genuine concern he had for my cat! I know him or his office didn't have to answer or call back when they are closed, and yet he still did! And that is why I will NEVER go anywhere else!



THIS IS THE BEST CLINIC AROUND! Try them, and you will not be disappointed! Once you do, you too will not want to go anywhere else!

Good rapport with pets and people. Great care of my family animal friends at a better price than the last vet who was gouging me. I can buy the special food for my cats at half the cost I was paying!

We've taken our cats here for the past five years,never any issues. They have always been upfront about cost and even worked with us a couple of times when we needed to pay a few days later. The doctors are very kind and compassionate.

First and foremost I'm the panic mommy when it comes to my fur babies we foster but also have our own fur children we care for and the staff at APC has always been WONDERFUL! Dr. Baker kept her chin up and reassured me when I was paranoid about my kitties midnight and meow. Scott has always been great on the phone I love the gals at the front desk and I refuse to take my babies anywhere else our dogs Bullet, Hercules, and Brutus, cat's Second Chance, Meow meow, Midnight and Morris, sugar gliders Small's& Gizmo, and mini pot bellied pig bacon bit's all think they are WONDERFUL!!! Please do NOT go to this clinic!! I decided to take my pets to this clinic based off the nice reviews I read; however, I deeply regret this decision. I hope you research the other many affordable clinics in the Tulsa area. I wish I would have because it would have saved me a lot of time, money, and sanity.



Each time I took my pets to this vet clinic, I had a negative experience, with the last one being the absolute worse. I feel the front desk workers are not fully competent in the services the clinic provides and that the manager is aware of this and having a difficult time correcting this situation. I also feel the techs need to better understand their job duties and how to better interact with the pet owners. For example, I have had to wait for the front desk workers to finish side conversations before receiving help, I've had to ask several times to remind the techs to get my pet after its surgery, and I feel they heavily push non-necessary services which leaves me feeling like an awful owner.



My last experience is the cause of me writing this review. Because of another negative experience, I had to attempt to work directly with the manager. However, I was not directly contacted by the manager, I did not receive any kind of an apology for the extreme inconvenience and very expensive price of the mistake, and felt the situation was dealt with in the most unprofessional manner.



I hope you take this review seriously, I do not wish this stress, anger, and sadness upon anyone else.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC!!! After reading all the 'nice' reviews, I decided to take my pets to this clinic -biggest mistake I've made while living in Tulsa. There are many other affordable clinics in Tulsa, I beg you to go somewhere else!!!! I promise you avoiding this clinic will save you time, money, and your sanity!



Customer service is awful, no one at the front desk knows what is going on and the manager does not apologize for their incompetence when it is brought to his attention. I have to ask a tech several times to go back and get my animal when it is time to pick up. I have to wait for the front desk workers to have their side conversations before I am able to pay. I am always getting additional, non-necessary services pushed onto me and they make me feel like an awful person when I turn it down. I worked one-on-one with the manager Scott about an extremely frustrating situation that was their fault and he never once took responsibility, did not apologize, did not contact me back - I had to follow up with him to correct the situation. After working with the manager, I was better able to see why I had a horrible time with this clinic.



P.S. I have never posted a review before, but felt this was extremely important to share.

We have brought our pets to APC for a 4 years now and are really pleased. We find the staff very helpful and knowledable. The are very loving to our pets and the staff treats them as if they were their own pets. We highly reconmend them to all our friends and will go there for many years to come.

This place saved my dog. I went in the other day because my dog wasn't acting right and found out she had a serious infection that could have killed her. She went in for surgery that day and was able to come home the next day. They gave me the price up front and called me during the surgery to update me and let me know what else they found. When we picked her up, the price was what we had discussed, no added fees or hidden extra fees that vets sometimes sneakily include. They even called the next day to check on her and to have me give her a smaller dosage of medicine. Even though it is about 20 minutes from our house, we now have a new primary vet. Highly recommend!! Very friendly staff and affordable!

This place is amazing! The staff is so nice and caring - I needed to get my dog in quick because he had a yeast infection in his ears and even though they were super busy, they made time for me. My dog is also quite large and can be a bit crazy, they handle him wonderfully and never make me feel bad for my hyper dog. I would highly recommend them! :)

The best vet in town. Dr. Rust cares about your pet and you. He tells you exactly what the problem is and what your options are. He doesn't try to sell you something your pet doesn't need. Integrity and sensitivity and expertise are the qualities that make Dr. Rust the BEST vet that I have ever dealt with.

This was the best care I have ever received for any of my pets. It was great care from a knowledgeable and caring vet, Dr. Rust. He was nice to both me and Lucy, my dog. The atmosphere was professional, clean and not cramped. The technician Courtney was very helpful and recommended great products that actually worked after many products from other places didn't. I had a flea problem that was near impossible to get rid of for months and after this visit I haven't had a single problem. All of this AND it was very affordable. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Dr. Rust saved my dog's life today. He was attacked by my large dog and thank God Dr. Rust was there for us. His concern was overwhelming.

RUN! Dr. was insensitive to my dog and our requests. We asked 5 times for Dr. to give our pom some "gas" because he is a very nervous and high strung dog. When I called before even making my first apt. I inquired if I could pay extra for anaesthic. I was assured they would be able to do this, if needed. 5 times I asked the Dr. and he ignored me. My dog went ballistic. Am I upset? YOU BET. RUN!!!

I can't say enough about how great and affordable this veterinary hospital is. We had just adopted a sweet rescue dog when he got over the fence and came back all beat up after being hit by a car. We got a free exam at another veterinarian, but then they estimated the xrays were going to be AT LEAST $300 and the surgery would be another $900 or more on top of that. There is no way we could spend over $1,000 on a pet we've only had for 2 weeks. Thankfully, a good friend at the rescue recommended affordable pet care veterinary hospital and we’re so glad she did. The xrays and the exam only cost us $70 and Doctor Rust spent a lot of time explaining the xrays and showing us what he needed to do. Surgery went great and now he’s back to normal thanks to the steel that is holding him together. He will never be able to go through an airport security checkpoint ;-) Everything at affordable pet care was easy and the staff was great. We’re going to pay it forward and recommend affordable pet care to our friends.
