Quay Rent-A-John

I do not have a review for this business, but I have a review for one of the men who works or did work here about 16 years ago. I was in my 20's and driving back to Ohio. I was having a very difficult time and could barely see through my tears. Suddenly, my tire blew out on the highway. I was thrown into survival mode and got the car pulled over on the highway. I had no phone, and no money. I had no idea how to change a tire. I sat there feeling completely helpless and hopeless with tears still flowing. A pickup truck pulled up behind me and a man got out and came to me. He saved me that day. His name was John I. Barreras. He did not ask me any questions, but told me to come with him and he was going to help me. He bought me a tire and had it put on the rim. He fixed my car and then stood smiling at me. He told me that I was not alone and that "He" was with me. He wished me well, gave me his business card, and was gone. He was my angel that day and gave me the strength that I needed to finish that drive. I have wanted to say thank you for so many years. I carry his card with me to this day and feel that he still gives me strength. I would definitely give this man my business, because I trusted him with my life. He asked for nothing in return, not even an explanation. I hope that he and/or his family can see this and know what a great impact he had on a total stranger, just a young lost girl with a blown out tire who had no one but him to come to her rescue.
