Overall

To whom it SHOULD concern:

On 10/12/2012 my wife was charged $8.81 for 60 pills of Doxycycline Hyclate 100 mg.

On 01/06/2013 my wife was charged $10.00 for 60 pills of Doxycycline Hyclate 100 mg.

On 03/11/2013 my wife was charged $29.68 for 30 pills of Doxycycline Hyclate 100 mg.

That’s a mark up of over 600% for the identical medication and dosage! My wife is from Russia and is not familiar with every facet of Capitalism. On 04/01/2013 and 05/08/2013 respectively, my wife received the identical medication at the U of A Medical Center for $8.32 each. I think we deserve an explanation from Fry’s Pharmacy especially since we are both on a fixed income.

On 05/06/2013 I dropped off a script for Methylphenidate ER 20 mg Qty 270 at the same Fry’s Pharmacy. When I came in the next day the girl behind the counter said “That will be $226.30. I almost fell over! After a brief conversation during which she said that THEY called the Insurance company and that was the price and during which I showed her 4 insurance cards, I went home and faxed a receipt for the same medication which I had previously purchased at Costco to the pharmacy in that store. I live 40 miles SW of Tucson in Three Points. The following day I once again went to Fry’s Pharmacy on 16th and Ajo and was charged $10.00. I would like someone in the Fry’s Pharmacy division to answer 5 questions for me which without a doubt deserve to be answered in a case such as the two I just explained above.

1) Why was my wife over charged TWICE for the same medication without an explanation?

2) Why did the pharmacy employee tell me that $226.30 was the correct price quoted by the insurance company.

3) Why was there a $216.30 difference in less than 24 hours for the same medication?

4) If this was my first prescription for this medication and I did not have a receipt from Costco would I have been responsible for the $216.30 over charge?

5) Is this grossly irresponsible pharmacy employee going to remain in the pharmacy so that this may happen again, and if so……….why?

Produce stinks

I don't know how many people are finding out that their produce does not last. Seems everytime I buy it there it goes bad before you can even use it. The dates look good but the produce stinks. I do not have that other places and when I mention it to them they have an "oh well"...you can bring it back. Yeah right...and waste the gas and get more bad produce. Why don't they just keep good prouduce. I have shopped there for years and it has been this last year that it has gotten so bad. It used to be once in awhile but with the price of food and gas so high they either need to fix this or I change stores for shopping. Do they care about the mighty dollar or loyal customers? Let's see.
