well, despite all the bad talk i decided to take a chance, i had recieved a gift certificate for one of there washes. the #4 wash. i won it in a charity raffle a little while back. i read all the reviews and was scepital. my son son wanted me to get my car washed for some time but never had extra time to do the job. so i had made some time one day between doctors appointments. now my car has not been washed in over a year and when i pulled in to the lot i was greeted by a gentleman who was very informative about to specials they were offering for detail services that day.i told him that i had a coupon for a wash and very little time, and that i wish i had time for a detail since my car was dirty. he asked if my appointment was close? i told him yes, they offered to take me to my appointment and pick me up while they clean my car, and to save me money they could use the gift certificate towards my detail cost. i was so delighted that i took advantage of his offer. when i returned my car looked like the first day my husband brought it home. they even took some paint off of the side of my car were the fence at home jumped out and hit me. i want to thank the boys and girls at the car spa. i will be back with my friends and more of my oatmeal cookies.
I love this place! This is the only location - it is locally and family owned for over 15 years!. The large Huerta family have perfected a service of cleaning your vehicle like no one else can. You may come accross Adam, their youngest Son, Richard Jr, their oldest son and even Kathy or Richard Sr, the owners. They've even made the local newspaper last year! They have great products and will get that corner other quick car-wash locations will not. My car is a dark color and I go to Viking Car Wash to avoid paint damage from mashine wash or bad products. I've also noticed that a large percentage of customers have heavy duty trucks and specialty vehicles. I think that they too go for the detailed work and the prices. You can go and get a basic car wash for a couple bucks or get a super-detailed wash. They are on the NW corner of 22nd Street and 6th Avenue. I hope you can make it - you won't be sorry.
I moved to Tucson from CA about a year ago. I've been exploring different car washes around town. I don't want to necessarily put the other guys down, but yesterday I tried Metro and was blown away by the difference. The prices were comparable to the other places (much less than CA), but the job they did was amazing! And more than that, I can't remember being in a more friendly place. For someone that is still relatively new to the city, I was made to feel right at home. Very cool. Great job guys! I'll be coming back and telling others to go here.
