Casa Vicente

Amazing experience

I visited Casa Vicente on a Friday night with my family and I left with the most exceptional experience. Casa Vicente is not your typical restaurant where you sit down and expected to leave as soon as you get your dinner. At Casa Vicente you are expected to sit down relax ...moreand enjoy the atmosphere. They have live Flamenco on Friday and Saturday. The service was exceptional and answered all my questions and even gave me suggestion on the extensive spanish wine list. There was a great tapas list which was hard to choose from the great variety of seafood, fish, lamb, chicken, vegetarian options, rabbit, etc... The food was amazing and perfectly seasoned. My favorite was an extraordinary beef tenderloin tapa with a green peppercorn sauce over patatas pobres (spanish style mash potatoes.) The children were offered chicken nuggets that were made from scratch and fried potatoes. They absolutly loved it and is more healthy than processed chicken nuggets. The entertainment was spectacular and should not be miss. I recommend to make reservations since they are always busy on weekends. Go to Casa Vicente you will not regret it. Mike and familyview less

Macayo’s Mexican Restaurants

I've been going to Macayo's si...

I've been going to Macayo's since living in Phoenix back in the 70's. This Macayo's on the east side is really friendly, beautifully decorated and have wonderful servers! I love the food at Macayo's and my favorite item there is the Baja Pizza! You must try it! It is a u...morenique 'cheese crisp' with their omg to die for baja sauce, small pieces of grilled chicken, tomatoes, cheese, and other yummy stuff. In fact, I like their Baja sauce so much that I will order a side of it and dip everything in it! Macayo's has the best shredded beef tacos in town. So many of the 'authentic' Mexican restaurants put their meat in a previously made taco shell. That's unacceptable to me. Macayo's frys each one to order and puts gobs of meat, lettuce, and cheese in it. I love Macayo's and go there at least once a month. view less

Tucson McGraw's

What a View!

I passed by McGraws many times but the word Cantina kept me away. I have a one year old, so I wasn't sure this was a family place. My Mother was visiting and we wanted to eat somewhere near by that wasn't a chain. I called McGraws to see how the element was and to my surpris...moree children are welcome. There is no doubt when you first walk in this is a bar and a very busy bar at that! But turn the corner and there's the restaurant. The food is what it should be, nice casual eats with a flair...Burgers, ribs, chicken, and sandwiches highlight their menu. Try they're fully loaded mashed potatoes they're wonderful and the prices aren't bad either. view less
